    I served below the 17th parallel and being captured or surrendering wasn't an option.

    We were heavily indoctrinated in the U.S. Military Code of Conduct.




    So I didn't surrender or allowed myself to be captured.
    The truth was, Charley didn't take prisoners if you were an enlisted man.


    Didn't all of the POW's awarded the Silver Star ?

    Losing your train of thought, especially in front of an audience, is pretty easy to do. Remember when Obama visited 57 states? It happens. That's far different than spewing bullshit about a subject of which you have no clue but acting as if your an expert.

    I think Trump bashing a dead man is tasteless but here’s the thing, Trump and the DNC have been doing the best at assassinating his character since before the 2016 election and it hasn’t worked because at the end of the day people are results oriented. In politics results come from policies and instead of addressing policies in a meaningful way democrats (with Trumps help at times) have just doubled down on character assassination when everything comes down to policies.

    Yes look at his lineage and tell me that didn’t play a role in his ability to even be in an airplane. People who have the idea of running in politics want to serve normally and those people usually get their choice of jobs based on their standing unlike joe smoe from Iowa.
