I would prefer that we build a one-way bridge to the Vatican, less chance of them getting back to the US, and we know how the Vatican loves bridges, and loves the poor; a win-win for everyone.

They like to use convoluted terminology to make it hard to gleam something useful.

Then they misrepresent the findings to turn opinion.

At least thats whats being done now.

Going to be real interesting to see how this pans out next year.

I have but to understand the Constitution you have to have read Vattel's.

The authors of the Constitution heavily depended on Vattel's.

Implied powers are powers of U.S. government which have not been explicitly granted by the Constitution but that is implied by the necessary and proper clause to be delegated for the purpose of carrying out the enumerated powers.

There are 27 total, but here is a slightly summarized version of the Congress' expressed powers: The Power to tax and spend for the defense and general welfare of the U.S. Borrow money. Regulate commerce with other nations and between the states.

I'm old school in the way that I think candidates matter. it is my opinion 2020 will revolve around whom the Democrats nominate especially with independents. Independents disliked Hillary a lot more than Trump, independents gave Trump the Oval Office. In 2016 independents gave Trump a 40% favorable, 57% unfavorable. They gave Hillary 27% favorable, 70% unfavorable which translated in a 46-42 win for Trump over Hillary with 12% voting third party. Against both. Question 10 & 11

Today, independents give Trump a 37% favorable, 51% unfavorable. Question 55A

Not much of a change there. Trump was a minus 17 in 2016, a minus 14 today with a long time to go before Nov of 2020. I think everything depends on how independents view the next Democratic nominee. Whom they dislike the most.

Appreciate your data/ links [and encourage all posters to be precise/ factual as much as possible] but we also know how terrible polls were during the 2016 election. Certainly not reliable to project any kind of incisiveness.

Why should anyone take You seriously about Constitutional law; you don't seem to have read and understood our federal Constitution.

The actual voting results in 2016/ 2018 elections do not suggest a bonanza of Black support for Trump  The national GOP does not even spend $ on Republican candidates in California. To get excited over the prospects of a Black Republican surge is like counting on California to vote Republican. Trump said he was going to win the state :roflol:

He defended a black woman who was attacked by liberal white men trying to kick her out of a diner. That is better than anything Obama did. Obama probably spied on her. :)

    You fight men of straw.

Minority support is up because Trump delivered on jobs and the economy.

No bonanza needed, but lol at the dated reference.

Again, it's doubtful they would move away from the safety of a sanctuary city and risk getting caught and deported. Especially since most come with little education and faced with a complex immigration system.

Again, I question your pollyanna belief that Trump is gaining support based on economic levels. You fail to recognize that a corrupt leader isn't respected but rather despised even in prosperity like a Mafia boss. A pity you live in a state where you must fantasize in private.

Interesting that your former governor/ now senator just said on CNN that he opposes Trump's lawlessness on immigration. Republicans know that they must salvage the GOP post-Trump. Good luck.
