I thought ignorance of the law wasn't a defense.

Not this is a whataboutism. That applies perfectly to Hilary.

42, 45, 45000. Not a problem. What is good for Trump is good for Hilary.

sure it does, many think Don Jr is too dumb to know it was wrong... Mueller seems to be one of these people

“presidents can't be indicted, Mueller is a republican and did not think it fair to suggest he was guilty, he wants Congress to review his finding and decide for themselves”

When did Don Jr become president?

This is the post I was referring to.....

“presidents can't be indicted, Mueller is a republican and did not think it fair to suggest he was guilty, he wants Congress to review his finding and decide for themselves”

That’s not applicable to Don Jr because he isn’t president.

I see. Yes, clearly the prohibition on indictment doesn't apply to Donnie J. My guess is Mueller felt the obscurity of the law weighed in Donnie J's favor. Which just goes to show you don't have to technically break the law to be a traitor.

Don Jr wasn’t indicted and the question is why? It could be lack of evidence or Trump used his influence to stop it or they didn’t want to overturn surrounding information on the meeting or finally a combination of those factors. That like the Mueller report itself leaves more questions than answer imo.

Well and good but what you said about not indicting a president obviously isn’t applicable to Don Jr. It’s strange everyone was under the assumption the meeting broke some law and yet no indictments.

That's been my problem with the Mueller Report, too. Why didn't Mueller recommend that Kushner and Junior be indicted? Attempting to conspire with a hostile foreign power is a crime. Attempting to commit a crime is itself a crime.

Maybe it is because Mueller decided the two were just lackeys for Trump, and Trump is ultimately responsible, not two hapless sycophants doing what they were told.

Trump was not indicted cause he is President, his children were not indicted cause Mueller thought they were too stupid to know what they were doing was wrong

If Democrats had control of the DOJ and and Mueller was a democrat, he woudl of been indicted imo

one thing the Mueller report shows is that America has no teeth when it comes to a corrupt President and his children

and now that this weakness has been shown, I think future President will also use it sadly (on both sides)

Trump is setting a new precedent.. and it's yet to be seen the long term effects

Forgive me if I’m just a legal dunce but I’ve never personally seen someone not charged because they were too dumb about the laws. I’ve seen it used twice for high profile people (Hillary, DTjr) almost seems to me that in those cases their were other factors at play. I just personally think they didn’t want to get into DTjrs meeting because it might embarrass some intel people and or Hillary so they chose to look the other way at the entire event.

Except that the other side of the deal was to relax sanctions.

Except we are not talking about Republican made up scandals about Hillary. We are talking about the corruption of Trump.

This is why Mueller didn’t mess with the Trump tower meeting...... odds are it was a setup by Hillary funded Fusion GPS

Nothing made up. The FBI report said Hilary broke the law by having a server with classified information. She was not prosecuted because "she did not intend to break the law". In other words she did not know the server was not certified for classified information or she did not know she had it. That was a felony.

That's certainly true of the left, your post being a prime example.

Still can't accept the Mueller results huh? I see you still have daily threads for it. I know it's a long report so it's tough to get the gist of it but here are cliff notes for you:
    NO COLLUSION
    NO OBSTRUCTION
    NO CHANCE FOR IMPEACHMENT

The evidence is quite clear and equally compelling. Mueller's commentary implies it was ignorance of the law pure and simple.

By the looks of your post you are the one who can't accept Mueller's findings.
