Stop acting silly.....do the math as to how many cars are actually used to commit homicides as opposed to that done by guns. And since I stated that licensing and registration of guns like cars would help, your nonsense is just that...nonsense.

And if the 1994 AWB was still the law, this joker wouldn't have had his weapon of choice, now would he? Like the OP said, not perfect but a good reduction.

Check into how many weapons are sold without any records...how many of those weapons are used in crimes. Criminals go for the 'untraceable'. You by the gun, you prove you can use it in class, you and that gun registration must be passed on to anyone you sell it to.

And of course, if everyone was armed, the cops would have been able to instantly tell perpetrator from potential hero or victim. :hmm:

How about stop avoiding valid points, reinstate the 1994 AWB, and stop the BS.

Hehe. I LOVE people, such as yourself, who argue loudly from ignorance.

See below. Tell us how what you said, above, matters.

They aren't - like any sane individual, they fight against laws that lay unnecessary and ineffective restrictions on the right to keep and bear arms.
You know - like the ones you want.

Tell us how anyone could count on the 1994 AWB keeping the weapons used in TX and OH from anyone's hands.

You don't need a license to buy a car, own a car, keep it on your property, or use it on private property.
You don't need to register a car to own it, keep it on your property, or use it on private property.
How would treating guns like cars "help"?

If you want to make a valid point about AWB, bring it up in the post I responded to, or is that too hard for you smart ass?

During the period of the aforementioned firearms prohibition, the exact same firearms that were supposedly prohibited, were still being sold freely. The firearm manufacturers simply modified the designs to make them compliant with the legislation by removing the named features, such as bayonet lugs, threaded muzzles, and adjustable stocks, and provided the firearms with a new name. For all intents and purposes, they were the exact same firearms, they simply had a slightly different look, all while still being in full compliance with the legislation.

The same legislation that did not order the confiscation of such firearms that were owned prior to the period of enactment, and left countless prohibited firearms in private circulation simply because they were already owned at the time?
