As opposed to the 200 some odd we've had in America just this year? You bet'cha. No one is claiming total elimination of these types of crimes, but limiting them as much as possible is the next best thing.

When the 1994 AWB was passed, there was no confiscation of legally purchased weapons prior to it's passing. Since it's sunset, the weapons used in Texas and Ohio were on that list. Reality, deal with it.
