My opinion is that the "Steele Dossier" is a red herring. Part of it was apparently used to corroborate other information the FBI had in regard to Carter Page's visits to Moscow. Comey briefed Trump on that and other unverified parts of it (such as the Moscow hotel room adventure) just so he would be aware that the FBI was investigating the dossier. Steele wrote it over a period of months and pointed out that much was unverified. Mueller hardly mentioned it in his report. The most significant aspect of the dossier was that it could be shown that the Democrats paid Global Fusion for their "opponent research," which included Steele's dossier...ergo, for the conspiracy buffs (the Birther types) "proof" that it was part of a Democratic conspiracy to deprive Trump of his election.

 

Actually that was Roys sidekick Pat Brady's jeep and it was called Nellybelle. I'm old and spent many Saturdays watching Westerns. Thanks for the brief but happy memory.

Note, some people are so lost in their TDS that they fail to see anything but hatred for President Trump which I take so much delight having in office. Finally, a DC outsider that stirs the pot and figures out a way to do things without going through the swamp that is Congress.
You would do well to listen to Levin as he speaks from the legal side. Many on the left, grab any anti-Trump headline and create thread upon thread only to have their hopes dashed on the rocks over and over again. Get this and remember, Trump is Lucy holding the football. You are being played like a fiddle and Trump must go to bed laughing his a$$ off every night knowing he will divert and derail those clown the following morning and every morning thereafter.

 

And judge Kavanaugh is a serial rapist, Trump is the new Hitler, all white men are racist/white supremacist/toxic masculinity diseased creatures, and HRC is a saint.

You're right about one thing. You are what you eat.... and if you don't have sense enough to look it over carefully, that invariably results in TDS.

As you are aware, the material in the dossier was not used by Hillary during the campaign. Additionally, the Dems were unaware of how Steele's investigation was being conducted or even that he was the one conducting it.

 

Agree. There were a few hints of the dossier shortly before the election (Mother Jones and others), but the first publication was in early January 2017, by BuzzFeed. Curious campaign strategy not to use your "opponent research" until AFTER you lose the election. All of that gets lost in the right's screams of: "BUT, SHE PAID FOR IT!"
And, of course, I seriously doubt that, in Putin's Russia, what went on in the Moscow hotel room was illegal...and certainly not indictable here (ha, ha, ha, ha.).

Glad you brought up the failed Air America. It’s failure proved that libs, unlike cons do not need shock jocks to think them. As rush says, he thinks so you don’t have to.

 

Limbaugh is another hustler who lets his mouth dictate what his brain thinks. I listened to him give the keynote address at the annual Young Conservatives Convention a number of years ago. He was so nervous he couldn't stand still...dressed in all black...and bouncing around the podium. He quoted "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" as being in the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution (it's in the Declaration of Independence) and all of the Young Conservatives wildly applauded his mistake.
Conservative Republicanism is gone. Most of its adherents have either left the Party or politics altogether. It's been replaced with a desperate attempt by a minority of white cultural nationalists to scrap democratic republicanism to prevent the coming majority coalition of "colored peoples" and the white left from taking political control of the country. They are scared to death...and Trump plays to those fears...along with Levin, Limbaugh, Hannity, et al.
