34 legally binding convictions, indictments, and guilty pleas, doesn't even begin to qualify as a "Witch Hunt".

I bet the only reason CNN did this is because Don Jr. put the name out there.

    No kidding.

It is just REPETITION (of the Same, Tired, Pro-Trump "Talking Points").:bored:

Maybe they think that just by repeating it (over and over) it becomes True?:salute:

LOL. How about lying under oath?

The Mueller investigation did more to drain the swamp than Trump has in almost three years.

    That's a good question.

Why were they only charged with "lying under oath"?

Does that mean they didn't lie about a crime that they weren't charged with?

    Exactly.

The Technology of Deepfake Vids is amazing.

And you can bet that by next Summer and Fall the 4chan/Reddit Pro-Trump Trolls are going to be releasing DeepFAKE Videos.

The Trump-Financed Macedonian Troll Farms are (already) hard at work on Deepfake. :salute:

Yes, that appears to be the fake picture.

The photos depict an assemblage of then-President Barack Obama's staffers gathered by the White House Rose Garden the day after Trump's election victory in 2016. In one image, a bespectacled man glowers at somebody outside of the frame. The bespectacled man is circled in red, with pixelated arrows drawn pointing at his face. In the other image, the man is seen staring grimly into the camera. Another red arrow points directly at his head.

No, the guy pictured and identified wrongly as the whistleblower no longer works for the government.

    Reading comprehension.

    EXACTLY Correct.

And, anybody who actually read the linked article should've realized that immediately. :salute:

Here's another problem beyond the obvious "naming the whistleblower opens up that person to threats of physical harm."

If CNN does report the name and that name is wrong, then they open themselves up to civil or criminal liability.

How can they have it wrong? They're fact-checking other sites saying those sites have the identity wrong.

The left never thinks before they put down their Acme traps.

Sometimes I don't think that the people behind the RW Breitbart/Twitter Troll Squad take the time to "think things out".

They just throw out FAKE Narratives (one after another) and hope that something gains traction (true or not).:smh:

I might have to ignore this forum completely next year. When it's so full of right-wing trolls posting one lie after another and showing no interest in the truth whatsoever, it ceases to be a political forum and becomes an offshoot of 4chan, Stormfront and Pravda.

They can say the other sites have it wrong in this instance because they have proof that the guy from the photo is objectively not be the whistleblower for independent reasons (his statement and work record).

That is a really good point.

PF has ALREADY Lost between 50% to 75% of it's LW Members. (In recent months).

Only a FEW of Us even remain.

Any more attrition of the LW will not be a good thing for PF.

    Time will tell. :salute:

Anyway, I am glad that CNN exposed this Fraud. :flagus:

What was the crime they were trying to hide by lying, or was the lying charge just used for dramatic effect?

I think it's important that we become a bit more skeptical and not trust any news source without paying a whole lot of attention to our own personal biases. I also think it's important for us to do some fact-checking of our own from a variety of sources. Pop the bubble!

My guess is they either think the rules don't apply to them, or this board hits them with too many facts, and we all know facts are like Kryptonite to liberals.

Anyway, my guess it the whistle blower looks like a pencil necked guy with bulging bug eyes and a receding hairline who frequently says the evidence is in plain sight, but to the frustration to us all only he can see it.

And that person said that Trump is very bad.
