    Its not about sympathy.

Have a military guy visit the prison, make the verdict, then apply the punishment. Proper or fake trial, even the communists did it.

A trial is a human right, we should not plunge the standard because isis guys did not. We are better than that.

    I never mentioned usa.

I accused Assad and his closeby. To a lesser extent the society, I might be wrong but I think it's a fusion between the war state in syria(war is hell) and Islamic attitude of not considering a trial a human right.

It never occurred to me that Assad should do the right thing. His brother who is in charge of the military and police is as brutal as ISIS.

I don't have any regard for the Assad family..

The Syrian legal system is different.

Terrorists are not conventional combatants, they are treated the same way a spy or pirate might be treated.

And what happens when people start saying their neighbors are members of ISIS and try to use these "courts" as a way of gaining power for themselves?

Take a look at Syria's history since 1947 for the answer.

What? You're saying is that extrajudical courts are actually bad and we shouldn't cheer for them? Well colored me shocked!

Hi, how are you? I feel like it's been forever since I last talked to you.

Syria hasn't much of a legal system to my knowledge.

Who knows what they'll do with ISIS? They don't have a lot of options.

    I'm good.

I don't think they have much of one either. My fear is that they're going to use these military courts as a way of calling people terrorists who aren't. You have to get power somehow I guess.

And I'm glad to hear it.

Assad will do that for certain.. That was the final insult that set off the civil war.

The New Humanitarian | Drought pushing millions into poverty
    www.thenewhumanitarian.org/report/90442/syria-drought-pushing-millions-poverty
Sep 09, 2010 · A top UN official warns that Syria's drought is affecting food security and has pushed 2-3 million people into “extreme poverty”.

During a mission to Syria which ended on 7 September, Olivier de Schutter, UN special rapporteur on the right to food, said 1.3 million people had been affected by the four-year drought, 800,000 of whom had had their livelihoods devastated.

So the Europeans who invaded their lands were the enemies of the native Americans. Sounds reasonable.

Where is this book of "Human Rights"?
    Who wrote it and when?

The outdated/barbaric Democrats have pushed the murder of innocent, unborn infants for decades, killing over 30,000,000 of them and counting. They call it "choice" though the babies have no choice. Their fathers have no choice. Their grandparents have no choice. But it's such a convenient lie for killers. Maybe when Assad gases or hangs ISIS monsters, he should just call it "choice".

Of course you would. So let me ask you something, did ISIS's victims get a fair trial before they were being beheaded, tortured or bombed to pieces? I don't think so! Hanging the terrorists would be a lot more humane than what they did to the Christians and Alawites - whose only crime was not accepting sharia law. You're forgetting that 300 Christians were being killed each day by these animals and others like them.
    .
If people want to give sympathy, then how about giving it to the Armenian priest and his father who were just mowed down in Syria by the Turkish FSA criminal cohorts, and also to the other Armenians and Christians who have to watch their churches being burned and are scared out of their wits? Oh that's right, the MSM doesn't tell us these things. They're not human, only the terrorists are.

Tell you what Margot, if Saudi Arabia and Qatar want the prisoners freed so badly, so that Turkey can ship them to Greece with all the thousands of migrants it sends everyday, then let them pay heftily for their release. I think $300 billion would just about do it. That's what the cost will be to rebuild Syria after they destroyed it.

Don't be absurd. I don't care what they do to the ISIS prisoners.

Saudi doesn't want ISIS freed and I can't imagine that Qatar does..

Russia needs to rebuild Syria... or Iran... but NOT KSA or the US.

Washington and its cohorts destroyed Syria, don't you think that they at least should pay for the Syrian oil they are stealing? Isn't that what ISIS did?

Anyway Russia does pay back Washington in other ways, such as not allowing oil to be shipped in tankers unless they're are made in Russia. They also won't allow ships to use their northern route and cut expenses unless they are Russian flagged. The US in the meantime sanctions nations if they buy Russian jets - and it goes on and on and on. The games we play.

A poster once wrote that his grandfather and friends were so sick of listening to someone being tortured by the native savages every night, that they got together and killed them all. What would you have done?

As I would not have invaded the home of another race and began to slaughter them in their thousands, I honestly don't know.
But if I was in the position of having to defend my home from invaders who were murdering my people, I would do whatever it took to repel them.
    Would you?

Syria's oil fields have been down to 13,000 BPD on a good day for 5 years.

The US shouldn't spend a dime rebuilding Syria.. Putin should have gotten off his rear end and helped Syria BEFORE 2011.. before Syria was a failed state.

Its tangential but there is a village in Syria where they still speak aramaic.

    Both Christians and muslims.
