    Does the Youtube video say that the chart starts in 1970 because systematic and widespread climate models did not exist before that point?

    The notion that the predictions are largely correct is entirely consistent with the fact that some of the most extreme predictions were wrong.

    That's why climate models are only as good as the input parameters.

    Anybody can tweak the input parameters and get the desired results.

    Oh, government you say. Would that be like the moronic waste of money by LA when they painted their streets white to fight global warming? BTW, LA has some of the best weather in the country.

    Or maybe you were referring to California wanting to ban dark colored cars and roofs to fight global warming only to change their minds when:

    1. They realized it also gets cold in many parts of CA.

    2. The politicians drive dark colored cars and have homes with dark colored roofs.

    3. It’s racist.

    America is not the problem. A study showed that if we didn’t exist the global warming you guys are so alarmed about would still exist. Now take your thread and post it on a Chinese forum.

    You could start by being honest. On the one hand, you say you don't want our money. On the other hand, you say governments must do it (by laws and regulation of course). Who the hell do you think pays for the government and the regulations?
