If they didnt bother to graduate high school but then had kids, are you saying I'm responsible to make sure they have a job that pays them more than what they're worth?

Why do I vote Democrat? Because I believe that the country should work together to pull everyone up. I don't mind paying for someone else if I know it will make the country stronger in the end. That benefits everyone. I also want a candidate who will talk about climate change rather than label it as fake news. And a candidate who will reinstate and maintain the regulations that make the people and the environment safer.

 

Trump is far, far better than anyone in the incompetent, anti-American Democratic Party.

But Washington is a joke. Our Founding Fathers greatest fear has been realized.

I wasn't talking about the stats bigots like to use to congratulate themselves on not being poor when everything in the country is in their favor. I was talking about the mythology of welfare being used to keep BLACKS "enslaved". The largest grouping of welfare recipients by far is still whites, not blacks, and always has been.

 

Because whites make up the vast majority of the population. Whites SHOULD make up the largest recipient group. Despite making up the majority of this country, Whites are 1/3 of welfare recipients.

What should NOT happen is 13% of our country consuming 26% of the welfare benefits... but they do.

 

I hope you're wrong, but that might explain why people vote for Democrats.

You are living in a fantasy world. This is entirely about the Constitution. Trump is unfit for office and anyone who can't see that is unfit to vote. Trump is openly waging war on the system of checks and balances and every means of oversight. Democrats in Congress are abusing their powers of office, for political gain, and we're paying them to do it.

I'll do you one better. I lived on less than that. I was living in my Geo Tracker for about 8 months after I got out of the military in 2012 after I blew $16,000 on prescription pills in four months. I'm going to pull in six figures this year, without a degree or working a trade.

I am a Democrat, & for me, the current discussion about illegals is both fabricated & inaccurate. Trump made them an issue on the first day of his candidacy in 2015, in spite of the fact that Republicans have historically been the strongest proponents of supporting illegals for low cost farm labor. Republicans deride Obama for protecting illegals, but Obama deported more illegals than all five of his predecessors combined--going back into the early 1960s. There's a lot of misinformation &/or total lies being spread out there against Democrats. The only "illegals" Democrats have tried to protect are those who were brought here as small children, before they had any say in it. They were innocent victims of their parent's decision, & have become natural Americans by growing up here. They know no different life, country or culture than American. They are just as "American" as you or me. Democrats aren't in favor of having more new illegals coming into our country. I don't. But Democrats DO want illegals who are apprehended at the border to be treated humanely, & with a recognition of their human rights as human beings never ignored. Democrats don't want illegal immigrants entering the U.S. any more than Trump or his supporters, & we're willing & anxious to work with Trump & Republicans to secure the borders, but we DON'T support having our ICE agents become pseudo-NAZIs in their treatment of those illegals or their families--especially the innocent children. Yet, such mistreatment has been filmed & shown on TV nationwide. That kind of hostility is both inhumane & unAmerican. Democrats don't support such behaviors. Neither do I. There is a valid legal system in place to deal with illegals. We need to use it correctly.

Democrats are the ONLY party today who support improving the lives of middle & working class Americans. Republicans work for the wealthy & super-wealthy only, whether they know it or not.

 

So you oppose suplimental nutrition assistance because it helps Black people? There has long been indications that many on the right oppose universal healthcare because they are afraid that their money might end up benefitting a non White person.
