But, you have No Problem with a Serial RAPIST (Like Donald Trump)? Anyway, RIP to Kobe and all of the victims.
RIP to a good basketball player, may his family find refuge in his passing and the support that is sure to come. But can we be real? He made his living playing a game, good for him 100! So, In what way has he contributed to the betterment of society? I expect a lashing but get real.
The conditions this morning were foggy/overcast. Aircraft were flying by using their instruments, but this pilot made a special request to fly in the fog with visually, not relying on instruments. He couldn't see and flew into the side of the hill at 150+ miles an hour is what it looks like. A mountain biker who was in the area at that time (and also an aviator) said there was no way to fly visually through the fog.
What's the name of that LA basketball team? Don't ask them at PMSLSD! From the mouth of babes. https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1221544023787278337
Nah. It won't be any more of a "career ender" than Trump's Daily Litany of Brain Diarrhea. And, back on topic, RIP Kobe.
If Kobe did for the economy what Trump has done I could overlook his transgressions, since he's done nothing for anyone but himself......I can't.
Gianna was the one he was teaching to be a baller. I spent almost $400 on a ticket to see Kobe's last game in Houston. It wasn't the first time I'd watched him in person, and there were numerous other times where I watched him on television. The many ruined many a night for Rockets fans.
One of the saddest things I've ever heard. I'm not much for celebrity deaths, but he was a global icon and truly an ultimate competitor. Most importantly, he was a model father. Will never be another one like him.
I tend to agree, I've never met him so my grief lasted about 5 seconds. I've always found hero worship to he an odd thing, but those that suffer actual grief, visit memorials, leave trinkets, etc... is even more odd. to each their own.
Well, sad, but not any sadder than each of the approximately 7,000 people who die each day in the United States. RIP 7,001.
Using this thread to call trump a rapist is the lowest of the low. Kobe Bryant is innocent just like trump. Kobe Bryant is an American hero just like trump.
Sad news, but it's no more worthy of a thread on here than a random car crash victim from the same day, of which there would've been many to choose from.
My post was in Rebuttal. I didn't bring up the subject. Nah. That is strictly a matter of opinion. In my opinion: Trump is GUILTY and Kobe was Innocent. Kobe = American HERO. Trump = National DISGRACE ___________ Anyway, back to the Actual Topic: My heart goes out to Kobe, His Daughter, and all of the other victims. RIP.
You are 100% right. I feel a sense of compassion for family and friends when reading any human tragedy story and that includes this helicopter crash. However in this case and similar cases I ponder the extreme love our society has for celebrities, e.g., actors, popular musicians, athletes, and the like. People that do contribute to society in more meaningful ways generally seem to die with little pubic recognition or fanfare.
