It makes perfect sense as I’ve explained.

And if the deaths data is broken down and published with this serious precondition granularity there is much to be learned and there is much information to advise people with those conditions to take extraordinary precautions. I don’t see that being done at all in the US and globally.

If a strong message detailing the preconditions that lead to deaths with corona virus infection is sent out lives will be saved.

I've been posting substance in other threads. Personally, I am not worried about this flu any more than the common flu.

You are more than entitled to your opinions. I welcome that. What you post on other threads is of no interest to me. What you post here does.

It's really that simple. Best to you, stay healthy.

Oh, and this is much more than just a flu. Just to make that crystal clear.

Just to be absolutely clear, for apparently, the message hasn't quite gotten through to you: trolling here is uncool.

Now, let's see if you can take that information and work with it in a positive, productive way.

The major preconditions which accompany serious coronavirus effects is clear - pre diabetes, diabetes, obesity, heart conditions. Why are you opposed to categorizing the deaths based on this which could save lives as I've explained ??

Some who accuse others of trolling are projecting their own behavior. In their minds disagreement is trolling.

Men are statistically more likely to die from Covid-19 than women. Therefore, the cause of death next time a man dies from Covid-19 should be reclassified as "death due to being male".

Cute but unless you know the pre conditions data that stat is interesting but meaningless.

Mark Zhandi, chief economist from Moody's, just announced their jobless predictions because of the COVID-19 catastrophe.

2 weeks ago: 2.2-2.7 million jobs lost
    This last week: 6.2
Prediction for April 2020: another 10 million jobs will be lost
Prediction for May 2020: another 7 million jobs will be lost.

    That's 26 million jobs gone.

    1.5 million jobs = 1% in unemployment.
    Therefore: 17.3% + 3.5% before the COVID-19 catastrophe started = 20.8% unemployment by end of May, 2020.

At this point, people who are still shouting fear mongering are not really worth bothering with. They will stand firm no matter how large the numbers get. The number of deaths will be completely irrelevant to them after we get through this initial wave. They will never admit it got worse than they thought - they'll say, yeah, it wasn't as bad as all that....

He just joined the many other partisan hacks on both sides of the aisle who have added no value to this conversation. The iggy button is so awesome.

I trust that you won't be quoting the government stated deaths from seasonal flu ever again?

I can't see it, since I threw him in iggy jail last page, but he's been trolling the entire forum screaming HOAX from the rooftops. I predict he'll be in your iggy box in less than a page.

Because the US quoted seasonal flue deaths use the same strategy as in the UK: I'll repeat my findings regarding government quoted seasonal flu deaths and hospital reported seasonal flu deaths for the UK:

"Three times as many people are dying of flu this winter in the UK compared with last year, with the death toll since October now at 155, figures show."
    https://www.theguardian.com/society...-people-dying-from-flu-in-uk-than-last-winter

I did not understand why this low number of flu deaths (155) is so different to other published figures which are in the 1000s. 15000 in this link for the same period:
    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...est-level-40-years-experts-blame-ineffective/

I noticed that in the US CDC figures are of the order of 10s of thousands of deaths, up to around 70000 from seasonal flu.

Then I found this link from the British Medical Journal:
"So the government are now apparent not only blaming fluctuations in winter mortality on flu but all excess winter mortality on flu, to the the tune of more than 50,000 deaths"
    https://www.bmj.com/content/361/bmj.k2795/rr-6

which should be read with this link:
    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...est-level-40-years-experts-blame-ineffective/

In conclusion: The published high deaths from seasonal flu by governments is to hide the fact that vulnerable people are dying from lack of care and support through winter. The actual deaths from seasonal flu are low. So those government published deaths from flu are false, there have not been tens of thousands of people dying from seasonal flu. A huge majority of those people died from being too cold, hunger or lack of care etc but it is beneficial for governments to blame seasonal flu.

This is why hospitals have not been over run by seasonal flu cases in the past - the number of seasonal flu cases have been made up by the government to hide their shortfalls

Sarcasm, in response to someone you have on ignore. He has been basically arguing that since people with some pre-existing conditions such as diabetes are more likely to die from Covid-19, their cause of death isn't the virus and should be reclassified.

Pretty sure that's one of the guys that I put in iggy a few minutes ago. Such backward thinking. Guy dies in car crash. Cause of death? Diabetes. LOL.

Turkey has jumped to almost 21,000 COVID-19 cases. Three weeks ago, Turkey was barely on the list. The number of deaths in Turkey is currently low.

    AHA!!!

I am noticing that the daily death numbers out of Iran are staying very stable.

Do you have stats for Iran by city? I am wondering how Ispahan is doing.
