It is that date which Trump should have started to change his tune and started to look into ramping up testing capacity and PPE capacity. Instead, he waited a week before declaring a partial travel restriction and then waited six more weeks before declaring a national health emergency.

 

I don't think they screwed up but they didn't like the S. korea test due to published inaccuracies. A week later we had our own, and businesses stepped up to mass produce. The problem is No one in the world could give us 1 million or 2 million the first of March, anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. Bottom line S. Korea did two things right developed a test and their people followed the guidelines, if they felt ill they stayed home. Everyone else did there normal routine, wore masks and gloves to work and avoided people. That's there culture because Asia is the world's virus hotspot, they are used to it. To compare a country the size of Florida to the US, which is 99% larger is a fallacy.

 

See if you can wrap your head around this... I could care less if COVID-19 had been called "China Virus" or "Wuhan Virus." Now, that said, it's flat dumb to try to rename the virus at this point. It has a name.
