The Germans did not even elect Hitler to be their leader. He had no majority ever. He got the communist party banned from participating... had them rounded up in concentration camps. And even THAN with a kangaroo court like elections... still no majority, with just 33% in 1933. He just took all the power at that point.

People tend to ignore that fact.[/QUOTE]
Indeed. It all wasn't that bad in the beginning. Eventually the Jews got shunned from all over the place, till like end of 1940's. That's just on par in how white christian/jewish America behaved towards the black population. They just don't like to admit to it.

I posted this on another thread, but it gives an accurate idea of WWII:

Germany was over populated, so it's raison d'etre for WWII was to grab land to feed its people. What they wanted was the Russian populated Eastern part of Ukraine as well as Western Russia, since their black soil was considered the richest in the world. Hitler's intent was to push the Russians to the Urals. Most of the 20 million Russian deaths were civilians who probably died from famine since the Germans were sending the food back home during their advances into Russia.

The other European nations were of minimal concern to Germany, and if they entered the war, it was probably because of the alliances they had formed before the war. There were exceptions such as Germany's attack on Greece to cover up Mussolini's defeat, and it caused Hitler to delay his invasion of Russia. To get to Greece though, they had to go through Serbia, and once they took over Greece and Crete, they became a threat to Britain's life line.

Anyway the point is that the Russians were fighting for their survival.

    WEST MEET EAST

"Putin Won't have it! WW2 was Wests' fault. Hitler was created and pushed to attack Russia."

Hitler was indeed "created". By France and the United Kingdom. Howzat?

The WW1 penalties inflicted upon Germany were massive. So much so that Germany never did fully recover - and Germany is not a country to shun work. But the penalties inflicted upon Germany did not allow the country to adequately reinvest and rebuild its economy. Which is how a nitwit like Hitler could take power. He thought nonetheless that the Jews were responsible for literally everything, and particularly of a financial nature. The Germans were desperate for someone to take the fall for their failure. It was the Jews that would do so.

It was Hitler who insisted upon becoming Chancelor of Germany to stop all reparation payments to France and the UK. Which, strangely enough, said nothing.

Putin is right in only one aspect of WW2 - that war was mostly won on the eastern-front where far, far more Russians died defending themselves against the Germans than on the Western Front. Allied losses were no where near as great as Russian. And that is what was taught in Russian schools after WW2 where Putin took his history lessons.

Putin likes running Russia. He's just convinced its Parliament to revoke the two term law thus allowing him to stay in power. His daughter has all the fun - she is married to Putin's best friend's son. And they are living both comfortable lives. They have bought a vineyard in Bordeaux and Putin spends some time with them there.

He likes French wines and gets along fine with Macron, France's president. So, if anything for the better is to be done with Russia, it is through Macron that it is likely to happen ...

PS: Macron is pickled-tink that Putin likes France. If there is any accommodation whatsoever to be made between Europe and Russia, it is through Macron that it will happen. And the US would be wise to follow. But with Donald Dork is not likely to be the one to do it. And why? Good question!

Lot's of tall tales there. Every step Putin takes is scrutinized, so it's doubtful he would spend time in Bordeaux or any other place outside Russia. Do you know how many assassination attempts there has been on his life? Even the plane shoot down in Ukraine, was an admitted attempt on Putin's life by a Ukrainian mafia member since the resemblance it had to Putin's plane was uncanny. At the time Putin was coming back from Brazil, and his plane landed in Warsaw 2 hours before.

As for his daughters, they are in Russia and well hidden from the public for obvious reasons. He bragged once that they are not in politics or business, since he didn't consider them honorable professions - which gives you an idea of his values. When Yeltsin asked him to take over, he hesitated, but only accepted so he could save Russia. He also said his daughters speak 4 or 5 language, which they use in their professions.

I know Putin's youngest daughter was entering dance contests some years back, but that ended when someone noticed she was using her mother's last name. As for going to Bordeaux, why would she go there, and not to Crimea to help the Russian wine industry? You're not making sense. It reminds me of the time Vladimir Putin disappeared from view and all these wild stories were going around.

Shows how much they know the man. If they did, they would have realized it was Lent and that he was probably on a spiritual retreat - maybe to Valaam Monastery. At one time, it would have been Mount Athos - but that ended when the EU began to panic over it.

Another irony of the Nazis is that those evil Jewish bankers in Europe and the U.S. supported Germany in WW I, and were ostracized for that support in the U.S., part of the wave of antisemitic propaganda here originated because of that fact, to the extent many business people running the bigger financial corporations wouldn't hire Jews for any position.

And again, Germany didn't pay hardly any of the reparations, they played no actual part in hindering the German economy; it's a myth perpetrated by German bankers and right wingers themselves. The real problem is the Allies didn't not occupy Germany after defeating them, which allowed them the fantasy of pretending they didn't get their ass handed to them in WW I and were somehow 'cheated' at Versailles. This led to the French occupying the Rhineland and extracting payment that way. The reparations were no more dire than those the Germans imposed on the French in 1870, and on a much smaller economy than Germany's to boot.

Anybody who doubts the bolded part can Google Scholar up the actual payments made by year, and they can also find out how much of it was paid by the U.S. for them while they held a big Pity Party for themselves over losing the war they started.

And, the Russians were losers, on the verge of collapse by the winter of 1942; they were rescued by the British sending aid and armor units that winter, the only reason they survived at all. After that, they were just the hired help, kept in the field entirely by the U.S. and to a lesser extent Britain. they didn't 'win' anything, except getting rid of 'excess population' the traditional Communist way, by killing them or getting them killed in senseless mass human wave attacks. Even that wouldn't have been successful if the U.S. and Brits' bombing campaigns hadn't made the Germans strip the East of aircraft and AA guns, leaving almost total air superiority to the Soviets, flying on British and American av gas and Merlin aircraft engines.

    What a total BS.
Germany could never pay up, so they simply had no other choice than to print money to buy foreign money to give away to the Allied. Hence the German coin dropped from 320 marks to 1 dollar dropped to 7400 marks to 1 dollar in 6 months in 1922. They weren't able to do more, hence the Allied invaded Germany in 1923 to slave them around. It's all the Allied wanted to happen, to enslave Germany. Hence they voted more radical to end such utter madness. Hitler than reversed a lot of crap Versailles did. Among them, the debt, and the forging of Poland out of the heart of Germany. And because of that historians agree... Versailles is a main cause of why WWII happened. Congrats allied!

And the US were just yellow. They entered the war when the Germans were already losing. And that was because the USSR was winning. The help the USSR got from the allied through land-lease... just a little drop.

Of course it is true. Germany is the "west." Germany started WWII by attacking Czechoslovakia.

And Poland aligned with Germany and also attacked Czechoslovakia. The Brits and French condoned it and a year later the rest is history.

Yeah, they started it...with the help of Poland and Hungary. All three took parts of Czechoslovakia while that candy-ass Chamberlain and the Frenchies stood by and did nothing. Chamberlain actually gave Hitler the go-ahead. So to put all this **** to rest in this thread, Putin was telling the truth. The end. It is what it is.

You know what is amazing? That Germany was crippled in 1919 and destroyed in 1945 yet has rebounded to become the dominant power in Europe. Pretty incredible really.

Americans of that era were very generous to the countries it defeated and then subsidized and protected afterwards until they could stand on their own feet. Pretty incredible, really, and probably the last time any country ever does so again, given the results and waste of money. Finland has been a better ally, followed, ironically, by France, over the long term, the latter voting with the U.S. more than Britain has in the UN and in crises elsewhere around the world.

The German economy was three to five times larger than France's in the 19th century, and yet France paid reparations to Germany and Prussia equivalent to the size of of its economy as Germany's Versailles reparations were relative to the size of its economy in five years, no whining and sniveling and attempts to radically inflate its currency and trying scams like trying to pay the reparations in worthless currency, creating ruin among its own people so the rich could keep being rich, and like Goering partying overseas while German workers fought over bread in the streets.

That's because everybody knew at that point that Versailles treaty was so wrong, and that they caused WWII to happen... and didn't want an other one if they made a new Versailles treaty to make the Germans pay again.

You can say the same thing about the Japanese. Most everything is newish there because most everything was destroyed in the war. Both are industrious people. You can tell where the people are industrious. Just look at the first world countries.

You realize, of course, that the "other" side was not the only one to use propaganda and everything you've heard that has shaped your opinions about WW 2 since its end has been the victor's version of events, aka Allied propaganda.

Many Westerners who have been steeped in residual Allied propaganda think that Germany's invasion of Poland was the beginning of Hitler's mad plan to conquer the world while the truth is both contradictory and far more complex.

Firstly, Germany had complained to the League of Nations dozens of times about the mass slaughter of German nationals in Poland by militant Polish butchers but inaction of the League of Nations left Germany no choice but to stop the multiple massacres of Germans by invading. Meanwhile, the real threat to Europe, the Communists, invaded the Eastern part of Poland without so much as a whisper of outrage from the Western Allies.

Secondly, only a few are apparently aware of Hitler's multiple peace offers intended to prevent another disastrous World War:

EXCERPT "The author lists all of Hitler’s offers in detail, complete with quotes, starting with his first offer of May 17, 1933, his second offer of December 18, 1933, his third offer of May 21, 1935, his fourth offer of March 31, 1936, his fifth offer of September 30, 1938, his sixth offer of December 6, 1938, his seventh offer of late 1939 to Poland to settle the Danzig Corridor issue peacefully, and finally, his offer of world peace on October 6, 1939, just over a month after Britain and France had declared war on Germany for invading Poland on September 1 (but not on the Soviet Union, which also invaded Poland on September 17)."CONTINUED(1)

After hostilities had already begun, Hitler sent Rudolph Hess to Britain with a peace offer that Churchill immediately rejected in spite of significant pro Peace sentiment. Hitler realized early on that Stalin was preparing to invade Europe and after allowing the Allied armies to escape at Dunkirk, Hitler offered to return conquered territories if the Western Allies would remain neutral so that Germany could fight the Soviets with a single Front(2)

There are numerous additional indicators that debunk the myth that Germany/Hitler started WW 2 with the objective of conquering the world but of all the world's leaders at the time, only Hitler knew, first hand, of the true horrors of war after being wounded in the trenches during WW 1.

As long as the victors write the history and continue to generate simplistic WW 2 movies, Hollywood educated historians will continue to parrot the same residual Allied propaganda that seems to continue without end.

    Great, one more Nazi apologist.
