    Nice deflection, they are not going around destroying monuments, like the Taliban. I understand you have a new favorite video source from some RINOs but that's neither germane to my thread nor does it absolve the far left from tearing down monuments, nationwide. Maybe go start your own thread if you want to change topics (like history, for instance)

    if the right wants to save their precious Confederate monuments, move them off State House lawns to museums where they should be, seems like the simple solution to me

    I find it a bit odd that there is a race to destroy anything related to history that can be construed to have any historic link to slavery or racism, but those advocating the destructive erasing of history on such grounds support the Democratic Party, the party that fought for preserving slavery, was the party of the KKK, the party of segregation and the party that resisted civil rights for all. Then, too, there seems to be a destruction of monuments such as those of Grant and others that fought to bring an end to slavery...so, what is the objective? A protest of racism or people just have that much hate of statues? I don’t understand, did the Country just give over to ISIS while I wasn’t paying attention?

    When the calls for tearing down Confederate Statues started me and many others once said asked....where does it stop? Jefferson? Washington? Those that supported the tearing down of the Confederates called such questions "silly" and not comparable, won't happen... Those same people now support the continuation of what was inevitably going to happen. The tearing down of other monuments that had nothing to do with the Confederacy. Just as predicted. Far leftists are predictable. They will tear down anything and everything to get what they want. Doesn't matter what it is. If there is even a slightly perceived slight then that slight and everything associated with it MUST go.

    Edit note: That perceived slight btw only pertains to them. They don't care what others think. Indeed those others also MUST go.

    Many native Americans fought on the side of the Confederates, the last Confederate general to surrender was an Indian, and slavery was not abolished in Indian territory until 1866. I guess all native American monuments have to come down too.

    we do not need these racist Confederate statues on state house lawns, to not forget about that part of history either
