A hand stamp would be a good idea. I know that in my state there is no method for identifying those declaring exemptions to the mask mandate.

What you're assuming, and running with, is that Ohio is doing that. My assumption is that Ohio is no better than my state in putting together mandates on the fly, which creates these situations.

 

She was tazed and handcuffed for resisting. You are are getting hung up on the mask rule and looking past how she escalated the situation by refusing to obey the LEO.

The games aren't being shut down because a few people don't want to wear useless masks, they are being shut down because state officials are trying to force people to wear useless masks, without a state passed legislative action that requires it. It's call tyranny, and those who go along with tyranny get the tyranny they deserve. End the tyranny, and you will gain your freedom.

I've said many times on this forum that "masks" are the gateway to tyranny, and every day that passes further proves my point.

Local jurisdictions can impose stricter regulations. This is apparent with alcohol laws in many states. A city or county is not required to legalize alcohol sales just because the state permits it. This mask reg is along those lines. What the school cannot do is loosen the state regs.

What was her crime, breathing the fresh outdoor air? If that's the crime, then you know tyranny knocks on your door, and the "mask" is the key that lets them steal your freedom.

 

I'm guessing the exclusion is something that can be offered, not something that must be offered.

She was asked to leave. I doubt another officer would have convinced her to do so.

 

This girl (woman) could have been in compliance with the mask mandate on 2 separate grounds (medical exemption and the 6 foot rule). With these ill-defined mask mandates, people do get confused. It calls for (IMO) a less authoritative approach from the police. This could have, and should have, been handled much differently.

I can see that. Then again, the anti Police are generally Biden supporters. To me she was simply an a** who deserved to be arrested. I only feel bad for the Officer who had to deal with her shameful attitude and behavior.

She should have complied or left the game. Nothing confusing about it. If he allows her to go without a mask, he has to let everyone do the same. The football game required masks. No one has a right to sit in the stands of a high school football game. People get booted out of events all the time, for various reasons. The reason here is not wearing a mask. She got her 15 minutes, and she'll probably pay a price as well.

 

The crime was refusing to follow health and safety rules most likely put in place by the school board. But you already know that.

It isn't the young woman causing the officer's problem, it's the state tyrants who imposed such tyrannical nonsense to begin with, (not sure, but I think its Dewine). Therein lies your problem. End the non-legislated state-imposed tyranny, and gain your constitutional freedoms in the process.

 

Ironic that you would move the goal post in a discussion about an incident at a game with goal posts. She was not smoking cigarettes. The law is unreasonable and the abuse of authority is unjustifiable. Other than her, there was no victim. There was more than enough space between her and others. Plenty of UV rays out in the sun! If she really has asthma, she is not required to wear a mask anyway.

 

Possibly. She could also have stayed home. And judging by the effort in her resistance, she had zero difficulty breathing. She also wore the mask to get in.

 

I have complete confidence in the government's ability to screw things up, but I just can't ignore the fact she wore it at the door. If she were an asthmatic claiming a state exemption, and exercising that exemption in her daily life, she wouldn't have had a mask to begin with. She knew she needed the mask to get in. It's pretty blatant in my opinion.

 

That's not a crime, it's schoolyard infraction. You don't tase, hand-cuff, and arrest people for schoolyard infractions. Has the country gone mad?

Are you a doctor? How can you judge an asthmatics limits otherwise?

She may well have worn a mask to get in when she couldn't maintain 6 feet with strangers. Wearing a mask momentarily in no way speaks to the ability to wear one for a couple of hours.

 

Some asthmatics actually get relief from wearing masks, especially in the fall when pollen is abundant in many areas of the country.

 

It won't go away until we put it away. And that ain't going to happen until people like you stop supporting such tyrannical nonsense.
