Good for them. But what does that have to do with a fascination with their opinions? You didn't provide an answer that addressed the question.

I criticized your response and rightfully so. No trolling at all.

The scientist Donald Einstein Trimp says wind turbines are bad and that they cause cancer instead of producing electricity.

On 1821 wood kept your house warm not gas. So your slam against the fairly new technology of wind power in bogus as far as I am concerned.

FAIRLY NEW? I remember the lines at gas stations in '72 when the Muslim Arabs were so angry that Nixon helped the Jews of Israel that they got together to "punish" the west. Solar, WIND and hydroelectric were all being touted as replacements even THEN. No... they aren't "fairly new".

Nothing bogus about the reasonable criticisms of it.

Obama stopped South Texas Project Nuclear Units 3 & 4 from being built over a decade ago. Why didn't Gates bring that up?

Bill Gates comes from extreme privilege and has turned into an Oligarch.

The point is that the percent of energy power derived from wind turbines is rather low but at least 51% comes from gas. So on a percentage basis of course your energy use for heating will likely be from gas. That will be that way until alternative technology becomes more prevalent and than gas or oil.

So what exactly is your criticism of wind turbines? Is it that they are not prevalent enough?

Given what we've seen from Texan engineering and "regulations", it's a damn good thing!

Better stick with things that don't need regulations; that won't melt down and destroy a few cities.

Very highly untrue your statement that Obama stopped the construction of feactors South Texas 4 and 4. The stoppage was that the investors dried up. Toshiba USA pulled out of the deal.

Obama on average was pro nuclear. So blame it on the Basa Nova not Obama for the scuttling of no 3 and 4 South Texas.

I was in the middle of that deal. Everyone pulled out when the U.S. Government refused to guarantee the loans made, which was an easy call. The project was a big winner and no matter what the Obama Administration said publicly, their actions spoke far louder than their hollow lies.

So you are ok with big government loans? I think there is a place and a time for government loans and recoverable bailouts. Just wondering.

I listened to Bill Gates today, and frankly, I think he's gone round the bend. He said he's neutralized his own carbon footprint by buying more green gas for his private plane.

Honestly, if "saving the world" is going to consist of people losing their jobs, not being even able to eat food that tastes good ("you get used to the taste"), impoverishing ourselves with super high gas prices, and otherwise lowering our quality of life, what are we saving ourselves for?? Why not just enjoy the time we've got left and accept that it might not be forever? Face it, we were never going to live forever anyway.

The next time you want to sincerely ask a question of someone on a topic that might be considered controversial make a little effort not to come across looking like a smart ass.

It was a guarantee, not a loan... just as they had done for the building of our commercial nuclear fleet throughout the U.S.A. The actual investors expected it, because it was the norm. It cast doubt on the whole project and it collapsed as Barack Obama and The Democrats intended for some warped reason. They were total aholes.

But...but... he's UBER RICH, and he gives more money to Democrats than Republicans (wise oligarchs always buy property on both sides of the aisle).
