The usual '100-day Honeymoon' given to incoming presidents is already 'shot-in-the-foot', thanks to Biden's throwing open of the Southern border, including to aliens who actually tested positive for the COVID-19 disease!

Those videos showing him at a White House ceremony last month, muttering that he doesn't even know what he's signing, and a more recent one showing him unable to remember a simple casualty total of the COVID virus he was trying to talk about, but only able to make vague references about some card that he carries, AND, his odd, near-invisibility since the Inauguration, have only increased the perception many Americans have that Joe is in this 'presidential' thing over his head, AND, he's simply too old and mentally detached to grapple with it.

What's even scarier is that everywhere you see Joe at all, who is that you see standing or sitting no more than about ten feet away from him? Why... his little 'helper'... Kamala Harris -- the one who's going to take over when 'they' tell poor, old Joe that he's going to have to hang it up now. And, not to worry, because Kamala will have it ALL in hand....

I agree, his age and mental fitness are not ideal.

But he's still better than Trump.

Damn the voters in this country, all of them, who contributed to these two being the people we had to choose between. What garbage.

 

Yes, his age is on the old side, he is boring, and he is prone to senior moments. Despite all those negatives, he is still much better than the alternative, who is, btw, not much younger than Biden. At least Biden has a heart. Just the one act of holding the ceremony for the covid victims when we reached 500,000 already elevated him over Trump.

 

Seriously, what I'm wondering (and simply do not know) is whether or not Harris can serve Biden's remaining term when they take him out of the White House -- AND still be able to run for two full, four-year terms on her own hook...?

At the rate Biden's going, I'm not confident that he can even make it more than a year... so, in March 2022, if he's driven off to 'the funny-farm', would SHE get to serve as president until 2024 -- and THEN be able, legally, to go for another four years -- followed by ANOTHER four years...? I think she can....

I think she could run for two full terms. LBJ announced he wasn't running for a 2nd term, after taking office when JFK died, and then winning the 64 election, which seems to me to mean he could have run if he'd wanted to.

 

I expect there to be a term and a half, where Harris's term ends and then her future vice-president takes over for the remainder of the last term.

The report is an interesting read, but that's not true.

That's what you get for trusting Newsmax without checking up on it. They aren't very reliable.

Right now, according to RCP averages of all the recent polls, 54.6% of all Americans approve of the job Joe Biden is doing. This includes a Rasmussen poll which shows 50% of all Americans approve of Joe Biden.

Now approval polls are dynamic and they'll go at times way up and way down depending on what is happening at the time.

Now Trump never got close to 54%, heck he never rose above 50%. His approval average for his entire first term was 42.8%.

Whether or not Biden is unfit, it seems most Americans, a majority of Americans are happy with him. Much more happy with Biden than with at any time with Trump.

It is a VERY interesting read. Upon what do you announce that it not a true story? Do you believe that the Rasmussen poll was wrong? Also, why do you categorically condemn Newsmax as "unreliable"...?

Is Newsmax not at least as trustworthy as MSNBC or CNN, for example?

If you read the story on Newsmax and/or look at the poll itself, you'll see that the poll results don't say that. The headline isn't true.

Rasmussen is pretty reliable, which is why the poll is interesting.

Because it does stuff like publish this false headline. They are dishonest.

No! MSNBC and CNN aren't perfect, goodness knows, but they are nowhere near as bad as that!

Fair to say then that you take issue with Newsmax's phrasing in the headline, but you don't dispute the Rasmussen Poll's "presidential approval index" calculation on Biden (reported in the Newsmax story)?

 

Yeah, yeah, the senile guy... this approach did not work during the campaign and will not work now. Biden will finish his four years, contrary to all the catastrophic predictions you are all making. It always cracks me up... because if he's so senile, then what does it say about Trump who got soundly beaten by him?

Unfit to be president? The unfit one was the last guy, the one we kicked out and he tried to implement a coup d'état to remain in power.

 

And, as laughably bad as he already is, Biden is still not AS bad as what's coming right behind him, as soon as Democrats can arrange it -- the Jamaican Voodoo Queen!
