Dozens of Former Trump Officials Held a Call to Discuss Ways to Stop Him in 2024

As one who has held Trump in low regard for decades, I'm glad to read this.

I've claimed for years that our political duopoly has been intellectually and morally bankrupt, and that's why I've voted LP on the POTUS election. If the GOP cannot produce any candidate better than Trump, it deserves to lose.

Rand Paul would make a good POTUS, and so would Kristie Noem of South Dakota or DeSantis. Trump is functionally the same as Biden in so many ways--old and corrupt. He is but a demagog, telling people what they want to hear but acting to advance special interests. I give him credit for trying to do the right thing, but he was outmaneuvered by the Deep State. Had he dropped the case against Julian Assange, as one example, he could have proved his integrity.

 

Meanwhile, Dems are working overtime for no pay helping his campaign. The best way to keep him out of office is to produce results that improve the lives of those they claim to care about. Oops!

We need a strong economic growth rate, a sharp drop in unemployment, a government that takes the pandemic seriously and is led by a mentally stable POTUS.

The polls don't show that, but there is still some time to turn things around. "Taking the pandemic seriously" is nothing more than a political platitude. There used to be a death clock, but it stopped. Your boy is in the lead! Of course, I do not believe either of the elderly, mentally unstable sex offenders are responsible for people catching a virus. That is just not reasonable.

Another thing that helps trump is keeping his name relevant. He needs daily threads and lots of attention. He appreciates your work bigly. This is yuge!

Trump has always embraced liberal Democrat policies and positions, and beat the entire RP establishment to win the nomination for the 2016 election running on a DP platform.

Trump didn't have much choice but to hire political hacks and insiders because the government is full of them. No big surprise that some of them are trying to gain favor of the political establishment by being traitors. It is what they do.

What's really amazing is that the party who claims Republicans are taking democracy away, are trying their best to get rid of Trump so that no one can vote for him, because they are so afraid that voters would actually vote for him so they need to usurp the will of the people and not let that happen. They need to make sure that voters can't vote for Trump. In other words, vote suppression. If you are truly interested in democracy then why not let voters decide the 2024 election?

 

I keep thinking they will ride Biden out but the more time goes by the more I'm doubting that. His press conference was a disaster.
