    HYPERLINK has full story

    snip

In these tough financial times, a new study finds it’s getting harder and harder for people to save any of their money. In fact, seven in 10 Americans say they’re living paycheck to paycheck.

A recent survey of 2,007 adults found that 63 percent don’t see themselves reaching a level of financial security that will allow them to live the lifestyle they want.

    end snip

The article continues with a theory that "lack of financial education" MAY be to blame. When energy prices have gone through the roof thanks to harmful Democrat policies, the price of everything rises. I don't know how "financial education" can fix what Democrats created.

One can look to try and defend or justify this startling statistic and place blame anywhere but on the shoulders of Demcorat politicians and their Demcorat voters.

Not everyone can find a nice, taxpayer-funded job. Many work within the Dreaded Private Sector (DPS) and the majority of "jobs added" that we see are service jobs as those who have, need to be waited on or pedicured by the have-nots.

I pity those in this situation who voted Democrat because they were clueless with respect to how harmful is a Democrat vote.

Real people are feeling real pain. When you look to high crime in cities or the train wreck of inflation we have, and all that you see are Democrats. The Democrats can make all of the excuses that they want. The folks are hurting

The lifestyle they want....? LOL. Most people always want more. More money, bigger house, nicer cars, retire ASAP, etc

And.....the article is from 2020, so it seems you are barking at the wrong tree.

The truth is that people will always cry and whine, and blame someone because they are incapable of reaching their dreams.

You can spin, twist, rant, rave, cry and whine, but only you can make things happen for yourself. Don't expect politicians to spoon-feed your dream life to you.

This is either disingenuous or it is lack of reading. The article clearly states that the poll was conducted four months ago. There is a reason that there has been the largest exodus from the Democratic Party by the working class in American history over the past year. THIS IS THE REASON. Who are people going to believe? Their own impoverished state OR YOU TELLING THEM THEY ARE LYING. This is not going to end well for the Democrats in November. Unless they get their voter fortification bills through (enabling open fraud), the American people are going to let them know EXACTLY how they feel about their purposeful and planned destruction of the economy (as outlined by the World Economic Forum in excruciating detail). What happened in the last year was exactly what the elites wanted and they are happy. They are fully aware that the damage done may be irreversible (and this was their goal).

Conducted on November 22, 2021 by OnePoll on behalf of AmeriLife, the survey also explored the necessities for financial peace of mind among different groups.

in answer to your question about which party had full control at that time; that would be your Democrat party

Good grief. Your Democrat vote helped cause this.

As many on this forum would say, the buck stops with Joe.

Joe Biden's America is violent, bleak, and devoid of intelligent thought.

survey November 2021. Is that clear enough for you or is supporting your Democrat vote more important than actual facts?

I can assure you that I don't care who you blame, or how it ends for any given party. Americans have always whined about not reaching the lifestyle they want, because they always want more. On an election year (ANY election year) people pretend its a new thing and caused by the political party you are not a member of, but that's just the way it goes in the US. Americans not only live from paycheck to paycheck, they live on their credit cards and pull money out of their 401Ks to buy BMWs and boats. People have been in debt for decades because they always spend more than they earn. That's the nature of the American consumer. You are very naïve / ignorant if you think this just happened last year.

The below is from January 2019, so it seems things have improved significantly. Did you whine about it in 2019? Did you cry about it being the result of Republican vote? No, you insisted it was the best economy in history of mankind. These things never change, and if you think your political party will deliver you your dream lifestyle, you'll be waiting a looooong time.

BTW The actual survey IS from 2020
63% of Americans have been living paycheck to paycheck since Covid hit

A shocking number of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck

    And in 2017:

In fact, living paycheck to paycheck – meaning there's not a cash cushion to cover the bills if the income stops for awhile – is a common condition in America. In the 12th richest nation in the world by per capita GDP, nearly 8 in 10 U.S. workers live paycheck to paycheck, according to a 2017 study by CareerBuilder

It has been the same for decades.

What are you talking about . Biden is not responsible for the wealth inequality equation .. regardless of what some moron has to say in an article. The premise is false .. don't matter red - white -or blue ..

Don't disagree with your second point .. but the claim that Joe . or any President been in for a year .. or even the first term ... responsible for the entire economic disaster that proceed him .. leading to this wealth inequality .. is utter nonsense .. on steroids.

I provided links to support my points about multiple years going back to 2017, and the one from 2020 saying the same exact thing and the same exact results as your article which claims its from 2021. You can play your inane games all day long, but most people know better that buy into it,

I haven't said anything to support Democrats. I couldn't care less what happens to them in the midterms.

This notion that people are living on hard times is not new. Then to infer it just happened these past 12 months is a joke.

of course it's not new. The term "hard times" is also subjective. The definition is irrelevant because perception becomes reality. Much like your Democrat party and the media pushed the false Russia narrative, enough people believed it to be true.

As folks fill up with $4 and higher per gallon gas, pay more for groceries and see empty shelves, they then are being asked to vote Democrat despite the train wreck.

What will happen is folks will stay home. They may not vote for liberty or good fiscal policy, but they won't go out to vote for more of the same train wreck.

This does not bode well for your Democrat party and yes, anti-energy policies tossed fuel onto the fire

Unfortunately in US many people earning over $100K a year also live paycheck to pay check. They live in houses they can barely afford, drive BMWs, buy boats, put in swimming pools, and when the paycheck arrives, it goes to paying off credit cards and mortgages, and even then they are still way underwater. It is what it is, but its nothing new, - it is a decades old problem and back in the day when people had pensions they could do that and still retire, but now pensions are a distant memory, and those who do not save in 401Ks are pretty much toast when it comes to retirement. They will have to live on their SS checks. Neither Dems nor GOP can fix this. Pensions are not coming back, and people will continue to be irresponsible. Maybe some sort of mandatory private account pension would help, but it will never pass in this country.
