"Trump" is literally in the title of the OP, so.................
And yes, TDS is real. Thing is, it isn't just Democrats that are afflicted with it.
I honestly understand why some people are all in on Trump. They wanted a president who looks out for them, and felt left out of government. Problem is, they picked the wrong guy. Of course, that's just my opinion.
    80 million share that opinion.

Yet Trump shut down Putins NS2 pipeline and sanctioned any country working on it
And Biden removed those sanctions allowing Putin to get a monopoly on all EU gas
Guess that makes your leftist theory worthless

Now that is a very curious question isn't it....?

Has this administration released a complete itemized report of the sanctions that they have levied upon Russia?

And furthermore I'd like to see a report of all NATO countries and what they have levied.

And even further yet have any countries who are not NATO members sanctioned them?

I am truly curious but it seems that information is not made readily available.

Since when is it acceptable that one country's leader decides whether or not another country joins NATO?

Oh Lord... Rule number 1… Empathize with your enemy. See the world through their eyes.

ANYONE REMEMBER THE CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS? FROM PUTIN'S PERSPECTIVE UKRAINE IS CUBA AND RUSSIA IS THE U.S.

    Think about that for while...

But it doesn't make it right. Why should we capitulate or sympathize with a dictator wanting to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO?

We shouldn't, that choice should be up to Ukraine a sovereign nation that has been illegally invaded by a despot through brute force and without provocation.

NATO's entire purpose is to be against Russian Expansion.

So please explain how getting NATO to meet their defense commitments makes NATO "weaker"?

So...Trump trying to get NATO to pay their fair share of the costs is Trump making NATO weaker? AND that's considered hostility?

Got a feeling I'm going to need my hip waders to get through this thread.....nah, never mind. Simply not worth talking to brick walls.

Study some Russian history. They want buffers from the West. Going back to the 90s Clinton knew this. It was understood.

Would Americans stand by and watch Mexico and Cuba join an alliance against them? Of course not. The West has been meddling in Ukraine too much lately and once Biden took office it went into overdrive. Putin had enough. Does it make him right, no. But he has all the cards in the region and called our bluff. We assumed he couldn't possibly do that. Now we need to deescalate and make a deal. Unfortunately we have a bunch of social constructivists in charge and no Realists. See John Mearsheimer on international relations theory.

I will create a thread on what he has said. Basically we provoked Putin through NATO expansion. Realism.

The problem is claiming that the US is doing too much on defense while secretly advocating withdrawal from NATO.

Add to that the fact that Trump has enormous sympathy for Putin.

I can't imagine where Europe and the management of this dreadful crisis would be if Trump were still POTUS.

Trump wouldn't have even sent weapons to Ukraine.

That was simply a way to get them to pay their fair share. And it worked.

Except for the fact that Trump DID send weapons to Ukraine?!?! Did you forget that part? Conveniently...

This shouldn't come as any surprise.

There was a recent poll where over 60% of people said that Putin wouldn't have invaded if Trump was in power. I agree. Putin saw Trump as an asset - someone he could manipulate to his own ends to weaken NATO & the West generally.

While he could publically humiliate him to a point (Trump practically fellating him in public at that press conference), but not too much. Invading Ukraine like this would have forced Trump to respond & turned him into an enemy. While Putin's judgement turns out to be flawed in some respects, he knew his boy.

That's not surprising or amazing. Trump has never been pro-America or pro-American. He is only pro-Trump and his wallet.

Are you really questioning whether America and EU have imposed sanctions on Russia? That is a serious level of ignoring the information that’s widely available.
