"I think one of the reasons that Putin did not move during Trump's term in office was he saw the president's hostility of NATO. It was widely reported in American media," Bolton said during an interview with SiriusXM's Julie Mason. "And to Putin's mind, it's a binary proposition: a weaker NATO is a stronger Russia."

How many are there? 30? 40?

The list of 'traitors' goes on and on.

I have no doubt that Trump would have left Europe (and Ukraine) to its fate if Putin had acted during his term.

It's pretty obvious. Certainly more believable than Trump being some kind of strategic genius or big tough guy. I don't think Putin ever had even an inkling of concern that Trump would go after Russia, and why take the risks of war by invading Ukraine when Trump was already trying to shred it from within. Even if Putin always had his sights set on Ukraine, waiting until Trump was done weakening NATO would always be the strategic move. Putin may have even thought he'd have another four years of Trump weakening NATO and alienating Europe and our allies.

And there's always the real possibility that Putin isn't being some kind of savvy genius, but instead an unbalanced livewire acting on impulse and emotion. If he was unstable, it doesn't mean he'd be a complete moron, but his motivations and concern about the consequences wouldn't necessarily be rational. For all we know, he could have been planning to invade Ukraine right now no matter what, possibly even planning on it, betting that Trump would probably have pussyfooted around and blamed it on NATO. And maybe he saw Trump for the blowhard he is, knowing he's not a tough guy, even if he tries to play one on TV.

Pretty sure Bolton's analysis of Trump/Putin and their 'intertwine' was accurate but now it's a little late.

Biden met with Zelensky a month after taking office and started to put things in motion to add Ukraine to NATO. Thanks Xoe.

    I am anti-Trump
However, I am also anti all of this nonsense with the non-stop Trump obsession
He is not president, Biden is. Regardless of what Putin did or did not do while Trump was in charge, this invasion happened while Biden was in charge. Just like the supply chain issues. border issues, inflation issues
Trump may have been the worst person to be President, but Biden will be considered the worst president of all time

No troops were amassed along the Ukraine border when Trump left office.

"In March and April 2021, Russian president Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian military to begin massing thousands of personnel and equipment near its border with Ukraine and in Crimea, representing the largest mobilization since the annexation of Crimea in 2014."

Agreed. I believe that nobody should be allowed to write tell-all books "after the fact." If they didn't speak up against the corruption when they were in the position to do so, they don't get to get paid for saying it later.

We need stronger Whistleblower Laws and protections and we need laws to make these spineless idiots that go along to get a paycheck pay for their complicit silence.

And you should frame that one, because I think you'll have difficulty topping it, as your worst prediction, of all time.

    More than that.
He would have sided with Putin and refused to sanction him for his actions and attacked NATO and the west instead.

They did? I've seen a lot of dissing this piece of doodoo. He had support prior to his arrest and a great deal of disbelief right after but I haven't seen a positive word about him since he was arrested and the case unfolded against him.

I don't think Biden will be judged to be the worst. Being the president does not mean you can flip a switch and right all ills that existed before you took office. He inherited a pandemic economy that was always going to produce the inflation that we're seeing. I don't blame Trump for the state of the economy when he left office either. Biden may have been perceived as adding to it with his energy decisions but I question just how much that's the case. All that said, Biden is indeed an inept boob.
In that respect, I don't think Trump could be considered to be the worst either. But I agree with your assessment about Trump being the worst person to have been president.

    Get current.

Jesse Jackson-Al Sharpton-BLM-The president of the NAACP all wrote letters asking the judge to give a lenient sentence to Jussie.
