    • America gained 7 million new jobs more than three times the projected numbers.
    • Middle-Class family income increased nearly $6,000 more than five times the gains during the entire previous administration.
    • Unemployment rates for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those without a high school diploma all reached historical lows.
    • Unemployment for women hit its lowest rate in nearly 70 years.
    • Lifted nearly 7 million people off of food stamps.
    • Poverty rates for African Americans and Hispanic Americans reached historical lows.
    • For the first time in 70 years America was energy independent
    • Gas prices were half what they are now
    • The US was the largest exporter of oil and gas globally
    • Reduced the direct cost of regulatory compliance by $50 billion
    • Removed nearly 25,000 pages from the Federal Register – more than any other president.
    • Ended the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and replaced it with the brand new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)

    Defined gouging and prove they are doing it.

    Prove that their labor cost, they material cost, their transportation cost, their production cost, their regulatory cost has not gone up and therefore they could sell it for what they used to.

    Because they were engaged in at attempt to manipulate the market and put our oil production out of business why do you keep ignoring that fact. And BTW what was the price of gas then?

    And had it stopped in 2020 we would not be seeing the inflation we now are would have worked it out of the system now but Biden insisted on spending more just so he could claim some kind of credit along with his attack on our energy sector and now we see the results.

    We keep hearing how high inflation is compared to past years especially the late 1970's and early 1980's when we hit double digit. The fact is the way the CPI is calculated has been drastically changed since then and in fact were we using that same measure we would already be seeing Biden's double digit inflation.

    Today’s Inflation Is Comparable To The 1973 Oil Crisis

    In a November 25 letter to the editor in the Wall Street Journal, Joseph Carson, former chief economist at Alliance Bernstein, argued that inflation is much worse than the official statistics show, because housing prices no longer enter the consumer price index (CPI). He estimated that if we were using the 1970s methodology for the CPI, the current inflation rate would match the double-digit increases of the 1970s.

    I shared that insight with several people, then realized I should verify it. So I researched why the CPI had changed, gathered the component data for the CPI, then calculated what today’s inflation rate would be using the 1970s methodology. Mr Carson is correct. Today’s inflation rate is comparable to that during the 1973 oil crisis........

    Dems are heading toward an electoral thrashing at the hands of voters because they have made "hash of pretty much everything, and with inflation raging out of control and certain to go higher, Biden had a ready explanation: “Make no mistake, inflation is largely the fault of Putin.” Old Joe must thank Gaia every night that Putin invaded Ukraine, as it gives him a ready answer to any and every critic and a potted explanation that will satisfy the Leftist conformists among his followers who know that all the failures of socialism are attributable to anything but socialism."
