Actually they want the history of old America to start in 1619 but America itself to commence around FDR's time or possibly 2008, right in line with Marxist dogma.

Are you suggesting the "history of old America" DOESN'T start in 1619??

If that's the case, I suggest reading a book... or 30.... if they're not yet banned in your community...

again i dont post "false information" as a rule, you misunderstood the implications of a facebook post which many do beive and how powerful these memes can be, after all the outrage over facebook posts and the election ii would think it common knowledge to research any facebook derived information...i never thought i would have to explain facebook to someone on a "political" forum but leave it to the rightwing to misunderstand and again have a nice day

I will be celebrating the victory for the 2nd amendment that was handed down by the SCOTUS. I will also be celebrating the over turning of Roe v Wade. This is a victory for democracy and freedom.

The history of America began in 1776. Before that it is Great Britain history. Glad I could clear that up for you.

Before 1776 it was the history of Britain in the New World. Maybe it's you who needs to read a book or two.

You're searching under rocks. To be precise the United States of America history probably begins around 1750, not 1619.

Lefties are trying to scam folks by saying 1619 was when America began. The truth is that Europeans established slavery and America abolished it.

The problem is there is much more white guilt in America than Europe. Americans are an easy target for their scam.

I always have nice days. Especially when I can let lefties know they can go pound sand because I do not buy into the 1619 scam.

I don't think anyone today thinks that slavery was OK. But in the larger context slavery existed long, long before there was an American slavery system. and the transatlantic slave trade into what is today was tiny compared to that in South America and the Caribbean Islands, and dramatically less than blacks sent into slavery in the Muslim world.

i view slavery as a "british empire" legacy and have no guilt what-so-ever, however american history probably starts with the european discovery of the continent, and american specific history starts when people came here, even the regions and reasons those people came here is included

They will continue to do their thing on June 19 instead each year while also shunning June 14. Next they will try to repeal the law as to what is supposed to be taught on September 17 each year and ignore commemoration of that date in 1787.

Some (idiots) on the Left renounce Independence Day on Twitter: 'Burn this country to the godd--- ground'

There….fixed your thread title to be more accurate. You wouldn’t want to make a sweeping generalization of an entire group now would you???

Try 1607 or maybe even 1586 as when the British Empire first attempted and then established a colony in what woukd eventually become the 13 colonies. Maybe it is you who should read a book

So was the decision in West Virginia vs EPA, a bigger win for democracy and freedom than most realize.

I'm perfectly fine with 1607 as the official start point as well... and don't try and tell a native Virginian about Jamestown, sonny....

We can take from them whatever history we desire, by right of victory..

And we want 1607... if we are talking about whatever that guy meant by "old America"....

Do you understand what exactly it is that we are going to celebrate the 246th anniversary of tomorrow?
