Why not compare to the last pre shut down at 13k? Feb 2019? Wouldn't that be the logical level today? The reason negotiated and threatened OPEC is because they ran the price of oil to $0.00 a barrel, obviously trying to destroy the US oil industry, which had become a net exporter, you know this. OfCourse, they caved, and it went to $30 a barrel. Perfect situation, gas prices stayed consistent, and we were pumping more and were oil independant. Now we're begging countries like Venezuela, Iran and even OPEC and we have NO BULLETS. You know the one's that produce the world's dirtiest oil with little to no regulations.

This whole thing is an idea that we need a Greener future. The people talk about electric cars is greener because they don't have any emissions which isn't true. A electric vehicle with the same ranges a gas-powered vehicle produces far more carbon dioxide to make what they're doing is they're putting a box around the car when the box should be around the planet. It's some 440,000 miles you have to drive an electric car with a 400 mi range like a gas car has before it starts offsetting the carbon and they're just not going to last that long. Batteries very rarely last that long.

It's not about green because an electric car is far more detrimental to the environment than even a brand new Corvette. You get more use out of the Corvette and producing it produces far less CO2 and then there's also the disposal which doesn't include having to deal with toxic batteries. Also a Corvette produces less CO2 than a horse.

I think this like most of the things the left does is just an attack on tradition. They want to feel sophisticated for driving around in their archaic electric cars and look down on the rest of us plebeians. The problem they're running into nobody cares about this we're not all in high school anymore.
