Or you could just look up the statistics on democide and stop thinking with your feelings.

Will you not having a gun save you from getting stabbed in the front?

    Allow me to elaborate.

No, a gun won't save you from being stabbed in the back.

What saves you from getting stabbed in the back is situational awareness and a gun.

That's because so many modern "men" have taken on feminine characteristics and use their feelings to think instead of their brains.

Oh my, you have trust in your gov? Congrats, we in the US are not that silly. We don't rely on the gov to wipe our little bottoms and scare away the bad guys for us. We're not a democracy, I presume you did not know. Since there is no such thing as a trusted gov we can just be self reliant.

This will confuse people who prefer a nanny state to make them feel better about having no control over their lives. I sure wouldn't trust a gov who arrests people for FB posts, but I'm not a clot.

I can't help but wonder how some of these people came from a country that once yielded the biggest military ever seen. Of course some farmers and blacksmiths used a few guns and sent them packing back to their current caves, no wonder they're still fussy.

Well, a civilized & democratic nation doesn't need guns for protection. You see, this is the dilemma. Guns in such a nation probably wouldn't result in the mass shootings that you see in the US. What can we learn from that fact, do you think? I know I only called it a fact but it really is.

Anyway, Is the American system of a gun-for-all the consequence of a primitive populated mentality in need of firepower or is it a non-democratic nation that fosters a primitive population that otherwise wouldn't be trigger-happy and murderous in the first place?

"Guns don't kill - it's the person holding the gun who kills". Now that is the most obvious truism making it clear that of all of the population of the western world it is the Americans who should be denied ownership of guns more than anyone else. Just look at the murder mayhem that goes on in the US on a daily basis!

Americans! Turn in your guns and give them to peace-loving, democratic nations that won't blast up the shopping malls, kindergartens, primary schools, high schools, colleges, universities, drive-bys, and road rages! :clapping:

    that's called an opinion.

The FACT is a civilized country will always have a criminal element which either the gov deals with effectively (ours does not) or the people can take responsibility for their own safety. Sorry but we're not brain-dead children who turn in their private property because .001% of the population does something stupid.

That's called panic mongering and it's silly and emotionally driven.

So you have to be armed and keep your head on a swivel to guard against something that is less likely to kill you than covid. Sounds like a great way to live.

Says the people who spent two years driving alone in their cars with dust masks on.

How did the people in this thread die?

Would they have had a better chance of stopping their attackers if they had been carrying a ready firearm?

And yes, I observe my surroundings. Is that a problem for you? It isn't for me.

Please continue extolling the virtues of your plan which so far basically is just a hope that you're never lunch.

The truth here is that it upsets you that you know you can't/won't defend yourself, but there are others who can and will.

    Misery loves company and all.

Like I said, you are far more likely to die from covid than you are to be a victim of violent crime.

I'm not upset about anything. I'm not afraid of being attacked.

I do feel sorry for people who live in constant fear of being attacked by the big mean people they read about in the news.

Strong men allow weak men to exist.

That's why leftists are extinct everywhere but behind the worlds best militaries.

Yet I didn't really wear a mask during the Covid nonsense but I bet you did.

See I know the truth: you keep suggesting that people with guns are afraid but you're just projecting.

If you weren't afraid, you wouldn't be worried about how many people have guns.

If violent crime was so rare that you weren't worried, you couldn't care less about how prevalent guns are.

We're not the one's living in fear because our method involves being ready for problems, be they rare or not.

You are living in fear because you have no plan, other than hoping it doesn't happen to you.

    I see right through you.

You see I want all violent criminals in jail, to receive the death penalty, or to happen upon one of my well-prepared brothers/sisters that are capable, willing and able to make sure that violent threats to their lives are prevented.

That's why I support more gun ownership and you support banning them.

    I'm not scared. You are.

The US government doesn't deserve trust but that's another subject.

Ye, it's very difficult UNLESS you want to go around a nightclub begging everyone like some kind of dope fiend, hoping in vein that someone knows someone who knows a dealer. Then you've got to convince the dealer you're not undercover cops. Good luck with that. Unless of course you hang out with criminals, who have lots of weed.

Weak men carry guns, strong men do bare Knuckle boxing. Guns have enabled the runts and geeks to dominate, which is ultimately bad for civilzation in that the weak survive which means a weakening of the gene pool

No, strong and smart men carry guns. Strong and dumb men do bare knuckle boxing.

Strong smart men know that a firearm is superior in conflict. Strong smart men know that your enemy may bring friends, knives and/or guns to your "bare knuckle boxing".

Still, I agree with your premise on the macro level.

That is why blue haired leftists only exist in 1st world countries.

The waste byproduct of strength is leftism.
