when a liberal utopia of lies runs smack into factual science that is undeniably above their comprehension…. LMAO It blows me away how moronic our society will become because of these lies being pushed on our kids. It is absolutely true and factual that there are only two sexes. And absolutely moronic to claim otherwise.

As for the trans that was offend F him/her/it who cares if it’s offended. It’s part of life and it’s also not an opinion. If facts offend you then you should likely lock yourself up in a basement and cry for your mom all day and night. Facts are everywhere

Most of today's colleges and universities promote various fantasies, and the gullible and submissive students are not even aware of it.

The future does not look bright for the US of A.

It’s the department of education, typically that department has the students with the lowest college entrance qualifications.

Who needs to go to a 4 year university to learn what a color wheel is and how to organize a bulletin board?

If I was one of these kids parents I would cut off any financial assistance I was giving them. To refuse to go to class because you disagree with factual science proves their inability to learn.

Apparently they need to go to college to lean about biology because the lower schools are not teaching that or this wouldn’t be such a shock to them.

Maybe a little education will help.

    https://www.americanprogress.org/ar...dentifiable sexual or reproductive variations.
It is estimated that up to 1.7 percent of the population has an intersex trait and that approximately 0.5 percent of people have clinically identifiable sexual or reproductive variations.

Based on the article, it would appear that this was a class for students wishing to go into teaching. And the class was titled 'Creating a Positive Learning Environment'. I'd never heard of that so went online to learn about it. Overwhelming, it is recommended to foster an environment of discussion and listening. Doesn't sound to me as though the instructor was doing either. Whether you agree or disagree with the notion of more than two sexes, if you are wanting to teach how to create a positive learning environment you should teach by example. Set up a discussion. The instructor didn't do that.

This is typical of hypocritical liberals; they want diversity of thought and tolerance but melt like the intolerant snowflakes they are when confronted with thoughts they don't agree with.

And leave it to a lib butterfly to feel personally attacked for hearing another person's opinion.

While I can somewhat agree that surgery’s should be held off on these cases this article brings up, it does not convince me of more than two sexes. For one example a female with a large clitoris and has ovaries is obviously a female with an enlarged female part. Still a female.

these articles that you are posting are obviously sympathetic to the LGBTQ community by admittedly adding birth defects in with their category.

Did you check out the last few paragraphs of the article? The professor has a lot of support. The bottom line is the student asked a question, probably to reaffirm her own thoughts, and didn't like the professor's opinion.

"A university that cannot teach facts because students find them too hard to handle is useless as an educational institution."

That really flies against the notion of creating a positive learning environment. The prof could have opened up a discussion about the subject rather than shut it down immediately. A lot more can be learned by discussing it.

Should she have been fired? No. But she could have handled it much, much better considering the course she was teaching.

Well I believe you are referring to the binary procreation organ configuration. That configuration can have alternate forms, eg, incubation and the like.

My article points out that configuration is far from exact.

Not sure the exact statement the teacher made, and my money is on you don't either. Unless this is a state school, employees are "at will", so the details are critical to it's judgement.

It's a biological fact that everyone is born a male or female. If the professor had claimed there are 150 genders this student would have been fine with the answer even though that statement is not a fact but a premise based on feelings.

As @mdrobster already pointed out, there are babies born with sex anomalies. But that aside, you are providing your views without referencing my post to which you are responding. I'm not as interested in the comment made by the prof as I am the fact that it was done in a 'creating a positive learning environment' class. What she did flies in the face of the subject she teaches.

And? If they have a Y chromosome (specifically the SRY gene on the Y chromosome but no need to get too technical yet) then they are a male. If they do not have a Y chromosome then they are a female. There are only two sexes. Period.

The article states the student brought the subject up again which means the original discussion ended. The student reignited the issue by asking a question which would either reaffirm her position or piss her off. She asked a question she didn't like the answer to and because the teacher didn't agree with her the teacher has to go. That's not very mature, tolerant, diverse, open minded, inclusive or worthy of someone who claims claims colleges should a place where all opinions are discussed and valued. Did you catch where they had a restorative justice meeting? It almost sounds like they were giving the teacher a chance to either agree with them or get the boot, in other words, they wanted the teacher to change her opinion under duress. Isn't that kinda fascist?

Ahh. A group of graduate students. Meaning, people that have been and continue to be coddled and have not experienced the real world approaching topics and issues from the rosey pedestal if ideological mythical utopia.

They are dumb kids. I was a dumb kid at that age.

And not only do they want the world to hear them, they want actions taken to protect their fragile emotions.

Tell me you're an ignorant entitled snowflake with first world problems without telling me.

As a GenX, if we would have done this, we would have been told quickly to sit down and shut up and cry to yo momma when you got home. We need yo get back to that.

1.7 and .5%! Oh my gosh.

The other 99.5% should bend over backwards to protect their emotions.

English people make up less than 1% of the world's population. That doesn't mean that England does not exist. What hardship are you suffering from bending over backwards to anyone's emotions?

    Ps yours maths sucks!

No one cares about people's mental illness and their attempt to hijack legitimate science to try to justify it.

There are males and there are females and then there are mentally ill confused people, who don't know what that means.

Quit trying to hijack actual science to try to promote your twisted agendas.

I’m fully aware of what swyer syndrome is. However, whether or not your genitalia is fully develop is completely irrelevant to whether or not you’re a male or female.

Those with swyer syndrome are males. They are simply males with underdeveloped genitalia and a genetic abnormality. But they are males nonetheless.
