youre not trying hard enough to breathe life into that strawman. Letting 1% of people dictate what 99% do is really stupid.

So I guess we have to get technical.

The reason for that is because 15-20% of those with swyer do not have the SRY gene. If you remember I stated that technically it’s not the Y chromosome. It’s the SRY gene on the Y chromosome. Most of those with Swyer have their SRY gene on the Y chromosome. That individual is a male and could not get pregnant even with IVF.

However, 15-20% of individuals with Swyers, develop Swyers due to a mutation or a deletion of the genetic code containing the SRY gene. So while they have a Y chromosome, they do NOT have the SRY gene, making them females and capable of getting pregnant with IVF.

This is just more left wing religion based on "feelings" and not science. Even kindergarten kids know there are only two sexes....

England exists but no one pays much attention to it. That doesn't hurt the feelings of England.

But for the record even if someone with Swyers could get pregnant that’s only because they have a fully developed uterus, which can only be achieved through estrogen and other various hormone replacement therapies to force them to go through a feminine puberty and even then they can’t produce eggs so they have to use someone else’s.

So that doesn’t make them female anyway.

This is why you rarely hear the words, "I'd like to thank you for this Nobel Prize in physics and hey to all my fellow graduates of the University of Southern Maine!"

After our sisters in the world have been truly liberated we can put energy into the tiny minorities that consider themselves oppressed.

Were they trying to change the opinion of the teacher under duress? Or were they wanting to open up the possibility of discussing it from other angles? I don't know - hence the question.

An XY with SRY gene can still be female if the AR gene is faulty or missing and will have external female sex characteristics (CAIS)

Had this been a biology class, I would be flabbergasted, by the students' reaction. However, I note, the title of the class, is "Creating a Positive Learning Environment" and, depending on what that is supposed to mean, and the exact way things were expressed-- though I concede, the student's statement that they felt "under attack," by being told that there are only 2 sexes is, on its face, ridiculous-- perhaps there is a legitimate reason to feel, at least, that this particular teacher, is not a good fit, for this class subject.

It sounds to me like the students were the ones shutting down conversation. How did you come to your conclusion? She wasn’t the one refusing to teach, or discuss. They were the ones refusing to discuss the dialog even to the extent of them trying to get her fired.

It’s not at all against what she teaches. What you reference as sex anomalies in that article there were no definition specifics on what they claim as a sex anomaly. There was an example of an enlarged clitoris as a sex anomaly. That’s like saying a man with a small penis is not a man. That article is full of subjective matter.

I believe it to be even lower than that. One example they gave was a girl with an enlarged clitoris. That’s like saying a man with a small penis is not a man. Maybe size does matter.

    100% - .5% = 99.5%. What’s wrong with his math?

He also used the .5% in his comment. It’s obvious to those with comprehension that this was the math he used.

No lacking your ar gene means that you don’t go through a masculine puberty. But you’re still a male.

A birth defect or deformity does not make you a different gender. It’s freaking absurd. There must be a freakishly low chance of having someone with no sexual organs at all and it’s not really possible to have both sexual organs that are fully functional since they take up the same space and can’t both work at the same time, so how loose with their definitions do they get.

It’s like saying someone with giant ears is an elephant or those few individuals with full body hair like wolves or bears are their own species. They’re deformities NOT worthy of their own genders. These people entertaining these fantasies are NOT intelligent people. Sorry. Don’t care what degree you might have. You’re mentally ill. Being a doctor doesn’t absolve you of mental illness.
