I wasn't alleging one way or the other about the presence of hardcore extremists, only that anti-vaxxers don't rise to that level and the biggest issue was not following orders.
You mean the question where you were putting words in my mouth that I never stated. This one? That I answered below So I guess you need things broken down? Made Simpler? Ok Nope, never made that claim. You are just putting words in my mouth Nope, never made that claim You are just putting words in my mouth Is that easier for you to understand?
Well it is to what you compared making this judgement So again I ask What hardcore extremist? I would be interested in your comments here about what the commission SecDef Austin created to look into the matter. http://politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/the-military’s-phantom-‘extremists’.615723/
Please do not combine my post with others...... Yes they declared it a huge problem in the country including throughout the military and MUST be addressed and gotten shed of. They found nothing and had no reason to look beyond what they already knew, the cases that had been brought were with 2 exceptions as noted above dismissed. The premature calls for new regulations need to be withdrawn and perhaps just perhaps the Command in Chief with the SecDef at his side could go on TV and announce the great results and express how proud he is of our military and announce all the DEI programs would cease and allow the military get on with it's way. But don't hold your breath, they never apologized to the border patrol agents who were falsely accused of whipping illegal immigrants as they tried to illegally enter the country.
What is a hardcore extremist? Somebody like McVeigh. Though he was radicalized after service as far as I know so no foul there. I've never said the military is packed with dangerous/hardcore extremists.
I would hope some of the Rep candidates would bring it up and demand Biden and Austin issue a public statement congratulating the military on the findings.
Fabricated nonsense. Goldberg’s reporting in The Atlantic specifically states Kelly declined to comment for the story. General John Kelly Knows What Trump Said About Veterans — This Is Why He Can’t Remain Silent (forbes.com)
The Kelly that defended Trump when he was accused of disrespecting a Gold Star mother and her family and her fallen son? Who later had his falling out with Trump and was summarily fired by Trump? "For many months now, the relationship between Kelly and Trump had reportedly been deteriorating, and his departure has long been rumored to be imminent. For instance, on April 30, NBC News reported that, per anonymous administration sources, Kelly has called Trump an “idiot” multiple times, and has portrayed himself as the only person defending the country from disaster." My Kelly thinks ONLY HE was saving the country!!!!!!!!!!! "Kelly managed to hang on to the job for quite some time after that. But things didn’t get better — and CNN’s Kaitlan Collins reported this week that Kelly and Trump were no longer even speaking to each other. Beyond that, Trump was said to want a chief of staff with more political expertise to help him handle the inevitable investigations and legislative battles with next year’s Democrat-controlled House, and to prepare for the 2020 election."" https://www.vox.com/2018/12/8/17117790/john-kelly-fired-resigned-trump Yep and then he was fired and went on the attack. I take what both of them say with a grain of salt.
So you agree the Pentagon has a duty to investigate active duty personnel advocating for the overthrow of the U.S. government, but then you say "there is no such thing as suspected active duty military insurrectionists" while there are 136 open and pending investigations of suspected individuals. 69 have been substantiated and subject to action and 50 have had corrective action taken. It seems reality is not your friend. Nope, in October 2023..... Former White House chief of staff John Kelly confirmed several remarks his former boss, former President Trump, reportedly made during his time in the administration, including one where Trump referred to dead U.S. service members as “suckers.” I find his comments reprehensible. I'm not a veteran and a veteran doesn't give it a second thought? Something is seriously wrong. A person that disrespects and minimizes the price they paid..... here is more that General Kelly recently said about Trump: “A person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat, or spend years being tortured as POWs are all ‘suckers’ because ‘there is nothing in it for them,’” “A person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me.’” “A person who demonstrated open contempt for a Gold Star family – for all Gold Star families – on TV during the 2016 campaign, and rants that our most precious heroes who gave their lives in America’s defense are ‘losers’ and wouldn’t visit their graves in France.”
Well, calling Trump an idiot was the general consensus of those who worked with him...... Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in July 2017 called Trump a “moron,” McMaster mocked Trump, also calling him an “idiot,” McMaster also said Trump was a “dope” with the intelligence of a “kindergartner,” Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said Trump had the understanding of “a fifth- or sixth-grader,” White House chief of staff John Kelly called Trump “an idiot” and said he thought the president was “unhinged,” Omarosa Manigault Newman, who was the highest-ranking African-American staffer in the West Wing, said Trump is a “racist, misogynist and bigot.” Both Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and former chief of staff Reince Priebus called Trump an “idiot,” Former economic adviser Gary Cohn said Trump was “dumb as ****,” Steve Bannon said in November 2017 that Trump was “like an 11-year-old child,”
This veteran doesn't. He didn't serve so he may hold some harsh replies when he is challenged on it. I voted for Trump because I liked his policy promises and I voted for him again because he delivered.
What do you think about the Army recently inviting back those who had been discharged due to refusing the covid vaccine?
A lot of presidents didn't serve but they respected the fallen. Trump lacks empathy, they are "suckers" "what was in it for them" a sign of a sociopath and you make excuses for him. An enabling member of Cult 45. Again, unable to answer a simple question. Agree or disagree. Kelly a Gold Star family member himself told president bone spurs not to call families but insisted, so he gave him pointers on what to say. Trump told one family member who lost her husband "that 'he knew what he signed up for, but it hurts anyways,' " Johnson recalled. "It made me cry, because I was very angry at the tone of his voice and couldn't remember my husband's name." In defense of Trump, Kelly said no phone call is perfect. Trump denied saying it or misremembering the soldiers name, but he is a known liar and Kelly is not.
I will not respond to your laziness. If you want my response you will respond to me individually If you include me in a chain response again I will put you on ignore
Seems they need more people. I'd view their refusal as a negative thing, but if it's an isolated thing, maybe can give a 2nd chance and move on. Hopefully, politics doesn't get in the way of following orders in the future. I guess there is some concern that the military with such people could have more loyalty to the republican party than the constitution, but if we need the people, concerns need to be prioritized.
Yes I know about the total misrepresentation of the phone call when what had was actually saying was what a brave man you should be proud, he volunteered for that duty he was not drafted, and he knew when he signed up the danger he might face but did it anyway to serve his country.
So you can't answer a simple question....got it. Misrepresentation? Trump was on speaker phone and there were multiple listeners. Trump was "misrepresenting".
Yes the misrepresentation and not this absurd narrative that Trump called up a widow to go NAH NAH NAH he shouldn't have volunteer then he would not have been killed what a stupid person.
Thank you for exaggerating and being dismissive of the call. Trump per usual offered no apology but rather implied all those listening were lying and you support someone like that.
It happens to him a lot. It isn't so much what he says that is important, it's more what it can be said that he said.
