I addressed the ancient Greeks on the list of homosexuals more accurately as pedophiles. You claimed that I was "parsing gayness".

This implies that you see no difference. I was not inventing anything, or falsely linking anything. I was defending homosexuality in this instance because I do not lump them together.

I don't believe that I argued that gays have not contributed. I simply distinguished between homosexuals, and pedophiles.

I watched the video, and I agree. I didn't hear a lot of boos, maybe just two at the most and a jeer. It didn't seem as if the entire audience was disapproving.

 

I'm sure a lot of gays think straight couples are icky too. Get on their case for a while.

People would have a lot less problems with gays if they gays didn't think it was their mission in life to broadcast and scream their lifestyle in every conceivable way. Nobody cares. Go about your business, and we'll do the same.

 

That might be possible if we didn't have so many stupid arguments out there trying to ban gays from serving their country if anyone rats you out, or if we had the same partner benefits as hetero couples.

*And please note I am NOT talking about marriage, I am talking about civil unions. Marriages should be left up to the CHURCH.

As for the broadcasting, that's a small majority, most of the gay people I know are professionals.

Paedophilia is something very differrent to the cultural norms of ancient Greece-and Rome for that matter. It was not considered 'unnatural', 'disgusting' or any other negative epithet, to take a same sex-lover.
