The government has no prob running people outa there homes to build a shopping mall because of the tax revenue the mall will generate. I believe they are just trying to keep the price of energy high to continue to choke the American people outa every dime they can.
Oh you are talking about a "taking".. See Lucas versus the South Carolina Coastal Council... He won in the US Supreme Court and it only cost him 4 million dollars.
I was making the point that the government doesn't have the interest of the people in mind. High energy prices is good for socialism. With a limited energy supply, the Czars of energy get to decide who gets energy and who doesn't. If the supply of energy was increased, people become more free to pursue there interest. I plugged in an electric heater and my energy bill went threw the roof. I can't even imagine plugging a car into the wall. The left blocks the very progress they claim to be for. More energy for all is better then rationing a limited supply to those who can afford it.
You also claimed categorically that Keystone would only create 3,000 jobs and, among a host of other false claims, that it would only deliver 100 bbls a day. There is a huge credibility gap. The US will ask that Keystone proceed after the 2012 elections. The halt Owebama ordered had nothing to do with the environment but rather his campaign contributions... By then the industry will be rather tied up completing a pipeline to the Pacific coast to supply synthetic crude to China...
LOLOL SUMED, TAPLINE and the East West Pipeline didn't create the job numbers that TransCanada is claiming.. And...... you never heard of any of those pipleines.
Bingo! High energy prices are the leverage with which Democrats hope to drive America towards their green energy interests. Environmentalists then continue their Party support and the brothers-in-law and Swiss bank accounts of Democrat Senators and Congressweasels make beaucoup bucks on their green investments. Low energy prices translates into big hindrances for the Green Scamming of America initiatives and worthless green firms failing and making greenie politicians/investors poorer rather than richer.
