I see, how interesting. You certainly seem to think outside the box and are well aware of the working class struggles. Oh cool, professor of Sociology? I would like to teach History in high school or Uni. My fallback is a government job, which is an oxymoron for me, haha. I'm not sure what else to do, I am quite fond of history and poli sci.

I want to ask you why are you not busy with a group you created? The group is absolutely neglected.

It's funny now North America is brainwashed by Communism. When they hear Trotsky, they think of Stalin, Soviet Union, etc. Trotsky actually was against Stalin's methods. I'm just learning more of Marx, Lenin, Trotsky and the Tsarist Government. I am really into Sociology yes! I do like History and Political Science as well. You did? How was it? Congratulations! Did you learn about Marxism in Sociology? What would you do with this major, if you don't mind me asking.

Well Bosco I concede and you certainly are more knowledgeable on the subject than I am or at least more passionate. However I think my general point that Irish American Reagan voters in the 80's were and are still largely ignorant of the leftist tendancies of the group which you acknowledge. Even if it had been "window dressing" or less than pure I know it would still have bothered a lot of Irish Americans I know/knew to hear socialistic rhetoric.

Lol - sorry didn't get back - I realise you are right re Berlusconi - there is no reason for Italians to be any different from any one else. As for the EU - you are no doubt right. standards are one thing - but club membership is more important. I don't know much aout Irish Politics. I should be more interested having Irish ancestry!

Whether overtly Trot or not they had historical contact with Trotsky in correspondence and many members susbscribed to those positions in the 1960's and 70's during the greatest period of upheaval in Northern Ireland (In fact there was even a factional split over Trotsky in 1970 between the Provos and the "Official IRA"). But my general point in that message was that most Americans were largely unaware of the Marxist leanings of the IRA including Reagan loving Irish Americans I would encounter in the 80's who professed a great admiration for the organization and who would have been shocked to find out the organization trained with the PLO and were decidedly "Left."

I agree. Berlusconi is definitely a criminal, and his control of media should be, I would have thought, contrary to what is expected in the EU. its a mystery to me that how he got back in again.

      Thanks ... I think.

whatever else - the footage of that was impressive because he was such a good shot ... that wiped the smile off berlusconi's face!

I am supporting Ireland 100% today. I am Irish, and I love the underdog. The only favorite I am pulling for today is russia, as I think they are an entertaining team I want to see at the world cup. But I hope I Ireland beats france, and I hope Bosnia destroys portugal.

Things are good on the home front, and in school. I am seriously worried about liverpool though. I am afraid of what missing the knockout stages of the champions league could do to Liverpool's financial situation.
