Good posting. I was away from the topic for a while then it just exploded. You know your stuff when it comes to fractional reserve banking. I'm more convinced now that it shouldn't exist even in a free market.

Yeah, because they don't know the difference between money and wealth, they think any boost in aggregate demand is good. The concept of a recession being necessary to allocate capital properly is foreign to them. Perhaps our bad economic future will change their minds, but I'm not holding my breath. Keynesian Economics already has a horrible track record.

I saw that you got into an elaborate debate about Keynesian Economics. Sorry I couldn't join, I'm not able to post much right now. Good input though.
