Gary Johnson would have a chance if people voted solely on issues and not Party Brand

Do you mean Ross Perot or do you have other examples? Ross Perot financed his own campaign. It wasn't organic or grass roots.

We could also make the case that the RNC helped to push Paul voters to Gary Johnson. In fact, we could very much make that case. They had to be so supremely stupid to not see that coming or takes their voters for granted to the point where they really don't care about your feelings.

If that is the case why do they deserve to win?

If you want a third party you have to vote for it. It's really as simple as that. Your problem is that you think that independents are deep down Democrats and/or Republicans and they are not.

    Get over it.

I liked Ross Perot but as it turned out a vote for Perot was also a vote for Clinton.

He should be on the ballot in every single one of the 50 states =)

    Vote with your conscious folks.

My conscious says "vote for Romney." We can't afford four more years of the incompetent community organizer. Voting for GJ will help make this happen.

I respect your right to vote for the candidate of YOUR choosing and respect our right not to vote for him and go our own way.

In my opinion, every Presidential candidate, regardless of party, should be on every state ballot and every televised debate.

Considering I don't see Mitt Romney as meaningfully different in any respect other than race, religion, and party, I really don't care. I have enough respect for the republic system our founders gave us and millions of brave men and women fought and died to protect to vote for who I believe in and not who someone else believes in.

That would be a zoo and a waste of everyone's time. So you're going to put the Communist Party candidate on TV that garners .0001% of the vote. Take time away from the real candidates who we need to hear from and see where they stand on the issues. Very noble, but horrible idea.

It's not horrible, it's true freedom and democracy. What you are advocating is party dictatorship, which belongs in places like Iran, China, and Russia, not the United States of America.

We also can't afford another 4 years of his mirror image, no matter who wins, we lose.

If you're being snarky you can do better, if you really don't know why post on politicalforum? Maybe a celeb site is a better fit.

...he will syphon votes away from Romney and give us another four years of El Barrack bin Husseini Ibn Obama Blackeagle to suffer through. No thanks. And if Romney screws up, we can fire his ass in four years.

Not true. You won't vote for a Democrat in 4 years, especially if it was Hillary. There will be some other excuse then why that's a critical election, too. I'm over that fear stuff. It's time that the Republicans take liberty seriously and if they see 1/4 of their party syphon off TO a liberty candidate and it costs them the election, they'll shape up right quick and stop putting out centrists and progressives.
