Why do brain fart threads always get more attention than decent threads?

Brain dead threads are easier and require less thought and effort. People want to snipe at each other, not have a decent debate and certainly not learn anything

 

How much more can be said? We've been through this Left-Right stuff ad nauseum. Besides, there isn't anyone here that can be convinced of anything different than what they already think is so. The forum seems to be mainly a place to reinforce what we already believe. We seek out people that think like us so we can get pats on the back from them and go away assured that we are on the correct side and the other side is either evil, stupid, or both. I know I'm convinced.

 

Other: They are often funny.

 

yeah right only purely libertarian threads are meaningful and needful of a reponse...
