It could have been worse. Senate republicans could have gotten their way a year ago.

 

Or we could have had Mitt. He'd have taken that tax increase and diverted them money to the 1% to build up their offshore account by a few hundred billion more.

When was the last time Obama
vetoed any spending proposed by Congress? Never?

 

Exactly how would this have happened?

 

20% income tax cut, elimination of the estate tax, reducing investment taxes to 0% to income up tio $250k.

It was all in his website.

The Republicans should have allowed the Bush tax cuts to expire the first time it came up. They should have voted present. This way the lower income people would have been hit with a 33% increase in taxes. Obama would be home in Chicago right now if that happened. Low information voters would have gotten that message LOUD and clear.

 

And the funny thing about this is that those companies, and many others, are in bed with the government, including the obama admin, and obama and his federal goons are doing nothing to curtail the problem of these companies skipping out on paying millions in taxes.

 

Voting for romney was not smart and not really much of a difference than a vote for obama.

But I too am enjoying seeing obama voters getting screwed by the pandering, race baiting, drone bombing, child murdering, usurping liar in chief.

 

Politicians are liars, period. D, R, I, L, G, or whatever other letter comes in front of their name is unimportant.

Last year my paycheck every two weeks was $3,312, this year it is $3,094. The rest goes to taxes.

That is a tax increase, anyone who tries to spin it any other way is a flat out liar.

I am going to really miss that $5,232.....

 

Bear in mind that the temporary cut in the payroll taxes, whose expiration you are complaining about, is something that Mitt Romney would also have done right out of the box too!

That is, unless you are really stupid enough to think that Romney, the supposed "fiscal conservative" whould have kept a temporary cut in place that was causing a severe short term underfunding of the Social Security trust fund.

 

You may want to change that Social Views - 4, that's what costing YOUR family.

Yes it’s called Obama care and it will levy taxes on every working adult citizen in our country.
Also keep in mind when you give someone a tax holiday your taxes go down, and when it expires your taxes do go up. I think it was done with executive order though, so not a law just an order from Commandant Obombya.

I am certainly not shocked that the Dems and the media lied to sheep and the sheep believed the Bush tax cuts were evil, and I am not shocked that the Dems and the media have now convinced the sheep that we shouldn’t raise taxes proving at the very least that Bush was 99% correct. I am also not shocked the Dems and the media have buried the facts above so the sheep didn’t even understand what just happened. Yes I am angry that this admin is so inept that they would actually raise taxes on anybody especially the way these tax hikes will kill small businesses and raise unemployment.
