Why guns need to be registered ala' vehicles. Misuse of your gun results in jail time and loss of your license.

Should we set the same rules for people who misuse their car and crash into someone?

If you want to make this world safer just take guns away from progressives they are the ones shooting kids in schools and in theaters and in our navy bases. Think of how many people would be alive if we took guns away from progressive mass shooters

    Yes, we should*. Next question?

People are facing infractions all the time for causing vehicular accidents, and are required to register and insure their car.

    Why shouldn't gun owners?

Accidents happen when you're out in traffic, too. You want drivers on the road without licenses or insurance?

When they cause injury to others due to irresponsibility? Yes.

Doesn't every gun owner consider his or herself a "responsible" gun owner? That is, until they blow away a kid or someone else?

Fact is, there is no such thing as a "responsible gun owner".

Anything that makes gun owners look bad will be used to advance their agenda. Remember it's ok for gun grabbers to lie and deceive people.

My grandpa has had a gun for 60+ years and never shot anyone. I've owned a gun for 20 years and never shot anyone. As have lots of other Americans but don't let that stop you from bashing gun owners.

Are you saying the story is untrue?

There's elderly men and women out there crashing into buildings daily with their cars. When they do, they lose their license. If your grandpa shot someone by mistake tomorrow, he would no longer be a "responsible gun owner" and should face sanctions.

Fact is, there is not such thing as a beta male liberal with strong gun knowledge.

What a load of crap you just spewed. I am a responsible gun owner. I know dozens of other responsible gun owners. I have been trained since I was 7 years old by a special forces father. My guns are all locked in a safe when not in use. They are always considered loaded and they are never pointed at anything unless the intent is to shoot it and hit it.

Guns should always be pointed straight up or straight down when not in use. When in use they should be pointed down range only.

Tell us what qualifies you to determine that there is no such thing as a responsible gun owner?

I'm saying calling this guy responsible is an attempt by gun grabbers to make every gun owner look bad.

And if a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its ass when it hops.

How would gun registration have prevented this accident? Doe car registration prevent auto accidents?

I don't know all gun owners.

    What liberal crap.

I have carried a hand gun for over thirty years, before and after the Texas law allowed CC, and I haven't shot anyone by accident. I have owned a deer rifle since I was 14 and I have never fired it by accident. I handled about a 100K high explosive bombs and never had an accident so your notion that no one is capable of responsible gun ownership is total liberal BS.
