I disagree. The question you posed is whether or not I would have the president impeached, which has (*)(*)(*)(*)ing nothing to do with the thread topic. I apologize for not taking a stroll down the trail with you. I realize it is much easier to make the cheap argument, that sitting there whining non (*)(*)(*)(*)ing stop that the president broke the law, the incessant partisan bleating, , than it is to actually address the thread topic, and in doings so trying to drag others down the same nonsensical rabbit hole, so again, my apologies for not joining you on that journey.

This is a debate forum. Debate encompasses a wide array of subject matter within a given topic. All avenues withing that given topic is fair game and it's not defined with some preconceived notion of what you only want to discuss. If you don't want to engage in full debate on a particular topic, then maybe this topic or even a political debate forum isn't for you.

Meh, seems I was addressing the topic. Sorry I opted not to go down some silly tangent with your ridiculous, off topic questions. Conversely, you are certainly free to not engage me.

I was engaging the topic as well, just not within your narrowly defined parameters. I do understand why you wouldn't want to.

He didn't take him behind the woodshed; his law still hasn't been passed or vetoed yet. Don't you think your jumping the gun??

Because it is a loaded, off topic question and I realize that nothing of any substance will be provided if I opt to engage your posts.

Then don't engage them, I will still have my say on the topic. Better yet, put me in ignore, it's your right to do so. I will still debate your posts, even if it's an empty chair.

Again, my apologies for not "debating" whether or not the current president should be impeached. Are we through here?

Coming from someone who thinks buying an AR or AK requires a special licence or special permit, me thinks you should look in the mirror if you want to see someone who doesn't know what the hell they're talking about.

After all, go ahead and post the link to the "special license" we need, or "special permit" required, to obtain one of these ASSAULT RIFLES. Oh, I feel evil just using those words.

There is nothing in the Constitution that states "If Congress doesn't act I will." Presidents do not get to make laws as in today changing the overtime law. As in his changing the immigration law or not enforcing those on the books. As in not enforcing the drug laws on the books and allowing states to pass marijuana laws permitting it's sale. As in changing the ACA/Obamacare over 20 times himself. The list goes on....

This bill probably won't be passed now, but if the lawlessness goes on and the frustration mounts, it will! The President is not above the law!

    Sub,

The problem is Obama is violating his oath of office to uphold the Constitution.

He is obligated to "to ensure that a law is faithfully executed even if he disagrees with the purpose of that law". He doesn't GET to pick and choose. So either this bill needs to be passed by both houses of Congress and signed into law by the President OR the President needs to be impeached for violating his oath of office.

Commander in chief is his primary duty as far as I know. His duty would be like to bring to justice Ansar al-Sharia who attacked Americans in Benghazi, instead of running off to party in Vegas and propagating a deceptive alibi so they could get away with it.. His primary job right now is to destroy AQ in Syria and stop them from carrying out this genocide. Or at least stop helping them get weapons, cash and territory.

But yes, you are right!!! He's like the Sherrif. He should be holding agencies to account. But he basically authorized the continued use of torture, and spying against the fourth amendment, buy not prohibiting them, and offering only fake reforms that don't change anything. In fact, I don't even think he's done that for the NSA, he only gave a vague proposal.

Thought Gowdy's speech was quite funny using all of Obama's words from when he was a senator. Now, even funnier is the fact that they should have reined in Bush and others before him, but they didn't because both parties only want to expand the reach of government, so Bushy was only doing what they all wanted and still all want today. ...but that is not what the majority of the people want. What's really sad is that so many people are so ignorant of the Constitution that they actually cheered Obama when he said "If they don't act I will." This is the day the Republic died.

Obama should be impeached for violating his oath of office, Article Two of the United States Constitution, Section 3, Clause 5: Caring for the faithful execution of the law. Obama, his administration and the Democrats appear to have no "Caring for the faithful execution of the law". All Democrat Incumbents should be voted out. They won't have a leg to stand on when the next Republican administration does the same.

Funny; since conservatives have always called for a re-write of the constitution and quickly bash the SCOTUS when they issue a ruling they don't like, IE Roe v. Wade, Lawrence v. Texas, Florida v. Sebelius (Obamacare ruling). The list goes on.

You'll need to link to reliable news sources to prove those assertions. Don't tell us......show us!

So are the three branches of govt not equal anymore? The legislators spawn random laws in a manner of random mutations, while the executive branch which sits above the legislators them naturally selects the new laws? This must be a natural pecking order in the body politic.

To which again; every single presidency from the first president George Washington has done the exact same thing.

    This ones easy to understand.

Obama is President in name only.

He considers himself to be Supreme Eternal Chairman of Victimized Gibs Me Dats Peoples Socialist Monarchy formally known as The United Racist White Christian States of America.

Oh ...you guys think I'm having a laugh?

See what happens if we swing any further left come November.
