I assume the shooter wasn't white. That is the requirement for a story like this to get media attention.

 

Personally, I don't.

 

It is a misinterpretation to say it only provides for rights of gun ownership for a well regulated militia.

 

In that case neither should anyone else in a country with more guns than people in circulation. Hell, just issue one with every new birth-to make sure you're all well-armed and...safe.

just the truth. I am very pro second amendment but if I were king I would have a 2 strikes law. Commit 2 felonies with a gun and you get life in prison with no possibility of parole and one attempt at a appeal

 

It isn't restrictive of the right. You don't see a LOT!

Nothing there says the right to bear arms is restricted to a well regulated militia, the amendment's language does state that the right of the people to keep and bear arms "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED".

And that shows just how little you understand about the NRA. Typical ignorance seen from foreign leftists opining on what is going on in the US in relation to gun ownership, another thing they don't have a clue about (yet doesn't stop them from talking, of course, as experts on everything).

If the NRA was the cause of all this violence, you'd see middle aged white guys causing a disproportionately high amount of crime relative to their population size, yet you see just the opposite. We have high crime because of black and brown minority gangs and a thug culture that permeates both groups, but that's a topic you'd be unable to discuss, due to PC indoctrination and an adherence to the principles of social Marxism.

 

Yeah, that's the ticket!! Let's take all the guns away from the law-abiding citizens......and leave them defenseless. No one is naïve enough to believe that the criminals and gang bangers and drug cartels will give theirs up IF it were banned.

I absolutely agree that the president should not have injected himself into the other criminal cases. And I agree the cases were chosen by race issues, which was divisional, rather than unifying. All presidents have their flaws. I wouldn't call this racism, but an attempt to highlight and fight racism. As the first black president, I think I will cut him a little slack on this, even if I agree it was not helpful.

In fact, racism has been inflamed. Although, in a way it proves that racism is still there to inflame. If you read the yahoo message boards... the outright racism spewed is ugly. So the first black president having some comments on this issue is not that big a deal.

 

IMO it's because the person doing the shooting is NOT an officer of the law or military or somebody associated with them. IMO Obama hates the law enforcement officers and he hates the military. He got that deserter back but couldn't even lift up the phone to make a call to help our Marine in Mexico or the Dr. in the middle east! As for this case...it was the rioters and looters (most of whom were black) who started the racist bulls.hyt and that opened the door for Obama, Sharpton, Holder and Jackson!
