These are questions that high school students SHOULD know the answers to but Dems have taken over our school systems and liberal Dem politicians have inserted their social agendas in school curriculums at the expense of traditional learning.

You serious ? You guys print ballots in languages other than English ?

What the fornication for ? Look when I went to get my citizenship e.g..Naturalization Process I had to prove that I could read English and understand English and that is all well and good. So I ask again why in the fornication hell do we have ballots in foreign languages.

You can't read English you should not be a citizen therefore not qualifies to vote.

there are many states I could no longer list, even though once pointed out I would remember, though I learned them in grade school, not everyone travels, some have never left their home state

guess it depends what your brain decides you need to remember..... some brains do not remember stuff that is not needed for years

I disagree. We don't ask people to vote because we think they'll make the right decision. Almost all of us agree that at least half the people in this country cannot make the right decision (we just disagree about which half).

We ask people to vote, because as long as we each have one vote we are all equally responsible for what happens. A mistake is going to happen eventually (both Bush and Obama got elected, for example). If we all vote, then we're all responsible for that mistake: those of us who voted for the idiot, those of us who didn't bother to vote, and those of us who failed to convince the rest of us there was a better choice.

But if we stop allowing people to vote, those people will point out that the rest of us forced a mistake on this country. They'll claim tyranny, and they'll be right. That's how revolutions happen. This country will never have another revolution, as long as everyone get's the same vote. Because when mistakes happen (and they will) the most anyone could ask for is next time, we let everyone have a voice, let everyone cast a vote (even the dumb ones), and we move forward with whatever imperfect choice we end up agreeing on. And that's all we do now.

The Watters World thing of trying to make everyone look stupid is arrogant and disgusting. I will not watch it and think he's a real jerk - an arrogant rude jerk.

I may have exaggerated a bit - it's not 53, but 11 languages in CA: English (for now), Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Korean, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Khmer, Thai, and Hindi. THIS IS REQUIRED BY LAW. Costs us MILLIONS.

The problem is, they make themselves look stupid...because they ARE stupid. I can understand your urge to look away from the stupidity, but it's not Watters' fault that they're stupid.

I take it your a Democrat. He didn't ask any tricky questions. He just got dumb answers. These kids are college students.

Not if we made English our official language. People might even try and learn it.

Of course, why else would they be for letting a flood of illegals in.

George Carlin made two good points concerning this topic. First, he said, "think of how stupid the average person is, and then realize that half of the people are stupider than that". Second, that voting just gives people the illusion of choice (to keep them from revolting).

Every law abiding American should be allowed to vote. It's just sad that most are not intelligent enough to understand our map.

The people who think the American Civil War happened in the 1980's should not be allowed to vote.

That would have prevented Obama from becoming president and a lot of other liberal foolishness.

Maybe we could just say that anyone who has forwarded a chain e-mail should be barred from voting - it's the most
accurate indicator of intelligence known to man.

So urban areas where people rent more than buy would be banned. That would help the GOP in the work to make it harder for blacks and poor to vote.

People who would vote for a man who said he could stand in the middle of fifth Avenue and shoot someone and still get their votes, is probably right. Not knowing the states is just ignorance. Voting for a man who uses the example of shooting people in the middle of Fifth Avenue, now that's a classic example of dumb right there.

How dumb is it to confuse an ignorance of geography with a lack of intelligence? Maybe you should abstain in the interest of democracy.

That might make sense if the only thing elected officials did was make budgetary decisions.
