The demonizing of Russians is to arouse a fear of Russia in preparation for war. Russia's military build up is to protect it from Washington and Nato's aggressive actions in Eastern Europe. It's purely defensive ...or has been up until now.

 

I think that Russia's recent past agressions in the Crimea, & Georgia is reason enough for Russia to be demonized.

 

And what role did the Obama administration play in the overthrow of a legitimate government in the Ukraine ?

How many regime changes or attempted regime changes has Obama been involved in since 2009 ?

 

My comment was just to show that Russia's far from being able to be portrayed as some type of innocent.

I agree, for far longer than the Obama administration, the US has through force, or coercion, either maintained relationships with, promoted. Or defended the actions of, or removed dictators all under the auspices of maintaining stability or other such nonsense, when America's supposed self interests were the root motivation.

Now Ms. Albright wasn't a native born American citizen and was born in Czechoslovakia during the 1930's and like all Czechs they hate Russians. But Albright hated Russians so much she had a really big chip on her shoulder.

So Ms. Albright convinced Bill Clinton not to bring our troops home from Europe and not allow NATO disband since NATO's only purpose was to kill Russians but to continue the Cold War and expand NATO and put NATO troops on Russia's border.

This woke up the Russian bear and the bear came out of hibernation.

Except there was no "aggression" on Russia's part in either case.

In Georgia, the CIA-puppet Saakasvilli launched a surprise attack on civilians in Ossetia and Russia merely rebuffed his asinine incursion.

And in Crimea, the people living their declared their independence and overwhelmingly voted to join the Russian federation.

The only people who actually think Russia is guilty of "aggression" in those cases are westerners who live inside a bubble of corporate media propaganda.

 

Russia is certainly "innocent" of "aggression" in Georgia and Ukraine.

In both instances, the initial act of aggression was committed by the west and its clandestine proxies.

Russia merely responded after the fact.

The only people who do not know this are westerners. Everyone else in the world realizes that the US government is the aggressor.
