One of the bad things about the political process is that the candidates smear each other instead of focusing on the issues. Therefore when the election is over the winner is covered in dung which weakens his ability to get things done. In the Presidential race this is especially harmful to our country because it makes the winner look like a pile of crap to the rest of the world, which lessens his political power to lead.

Now with the nationwide demonstrations again his election how large will be the negative effect upon America with the rest of the world? Will he be able to transition from the village idiot role to that of an effective and respected national leader who really reflects Americans' interests? If he's still living in 2020 will he change his demeanor while campaigning for reelection?
