If Bernie had been nominated I would not have voted. I had planned on not voting untill criminal Hillary was the frontrunner. Bernie would not have been as bad as Hillary.

Fewer and fewer are calling themselves Republican or Democrat all the time, and they only vote for the party boys and girls if the alternative is far worse.

The Guardian is a very good left wing source. It has no interest in objective political reporting. Of course, it is very credible when it reports against its obvious activist bias.

“Everything blurs into everything else in this world. The state department, the banks, Silicon Valley, the nonprofits, the “Global CEO Advisory Firm” that appears to have solicited donations for the Clinton Foundation. Executives here go from foundation to government to thinktank to startup. There are honors. Venture capital. Foundation grants. Endowed chairs. Advanced degrees. For them the door revolves. The friends all succeed. They break every boundary. But the One Big Boundary remains. Yes, it’s all supposed to be a meritocracy. But if you aren’t part of this happy, prosperous in-group – if you don’t have John Podesta’s email address – you’re out.”
The Guardian, Forget the FBI cache; the Podesta emails show how America is run, Thomas Frank, 10/31/2016.

I like the Guardian just fine. The serious Left despises the political scum as much as I do. :)

Montana often elects DP Governors, Senators etc. Marginally credible Democrats can win in Montana. Of course, that excludes The Clintons.

The real question is, will Bill and Hillary visit Trump once he's in jail?

    This has only just begun.

I think you need to look past Montana. I think you should keep in mind Trump won that state by 21 points. Gianforte won by just six. I think one needs to take a good look at the House, to see which seats are at risk and how many of each party's seats that is. Perhaps even look at history to see what happens in the house when a presidents approval rating is hovering close to 40%. Here is what history states:

The following midterms happened when a president’s approval rating is at 45% or below:

1974 Ford 42% Minus 5 senate Minus 48 House seats

1982 Reagan 43% Plus 1 senate Minus 26 House seats

1994 Clinton 41% Minus 9 senate Minus 54 House seats

2006 Bush II 37% Minus 6 senate Minus 33 House seats

2010 Obama 45% Minus 6 senate Minus 63 House seats

2014 Obama 41% Minus 9 senate Minus 13 House seats

Trump won last November because his opponent was Hillary Clinton. She was disliked by approximately 60% of all America, the same percentage Trump was. She is gone from the scene today. The first midterm is usually a referendum on the president. As of today, it doesn't look good.

I would also keep an eye on Georgia. CD-6 where the Democrat is running against Trump and not his Republican opponent, Karen Handel. It was Prices district, a district Price won 61-39. the polls show Ossoff, the Democrat up by 7. If Trump is wearing thin in Georgia, that could spell big problems for next years midterm. But they are a year and a half away, things can change. The question is, will they?

I voted for Bernie in the Primary, Trump in the General. But, I didn't get the sense that a lot of other Bernie voters did the same. Hillary screwed them so badly in collusion with The Dirty D's (Dirty Debby and Donna) who openly cheated for Hillary, that if they did support her, it was reluctant and half hearted. She is too corrupt and unlikeable to generate any real passionate support, like Bernie did. She could have pulled out the Bernie vote in droves, not just by putting Bernie on the ticket, but even Warren would have done the trick. But, no, she figured she could shaft the Bernie voters, who she hated for not picking her, and now she is whining at commencement speeches.

    She deserved to lose!

Those are fair points, mid term elections generally go very badly for the incumbent presidency, Clinton's second mid-term was an obvious exception, BECAUSE THE OUT OF POWER PARTY WAS TRYING TO IMPEACH HIM!

    So, there is that!

The base has some good elements, but the leadership, what a bunch of nasty vile people. Hillary's "deplorable" "irredeemable" and "I'm goint to put you out of work".

My goodness, what are they thinking?

    Delusional!

Ahhh! Great Question! Whose fault will it be if Dems lose in 2018?

I'll tentatively go first: The Establishment corruptocrats will blame the Bernie Bros and the Warren Sistas!

Yup. And on the fabulous, nothing else works like it, Socialist Diet Plan! Because let's face it, no diet really works, if your country still has food!

Venezuelans lose average of 19lb in weight due to nationwide food ...
    www.independent.co.uk › News › World › Americas
Feb 23, 2017 - The economic crisis in Venezuela is so severe that 75 per cent of the country’s population has lost an average of 19 pounds in weight, a new study has found. A third of the nation’s citizens are now only eating two or fewer meals per day, as soaring inflation creates food ...

No. The Centrists are against immediately confining socialism deniers into concentration camps. They think they can accomplish essentially the same thing through a wave of regulation in the first 100 days.

Trump was our last, last last chance, a Hail Mary, thrown deep into the end zone as the clock expired, and by 9 pm on election night, we learned that The Amazing Trump, actually came up with the ball!

What a nightmare we would be living today if the Drunken Old Corrupt Hag had won!

    Bullet Dodged!

Last years campaign I watch every debate, DEM debates. REP. debates and then Prez, debates. I saw Hillary being asked the question if she would up hold the Constitution of the United States and she danced all around it and never answered the question. That's when I knew she'd sell her soul for money. She is evil.
