I hope you're right. BH Obama's unconstitutional CO2 treaty was killing the USA.

Apparently the human population (now at almost 8 billion) plays a part in rising temperatures. But then, Trump alone blows a lot of hot air...

There was a drought right before the great depression in Germany, Russia, Ukraine and the American mid west, and frankly I attribute it more to the natural consequences of man's inhumanity to man and the way it affects the environment than anything else. But that's a theological concept that's a little too deep for most people to understand. It did lead to WWII, so let's just say we are in for a hard time.

As for glaciers melting, the water level has remained the same because the ice on one side of Antarctica has been growing. There was also a tilt in the earth's axis with the earthquake in Indonesia as with the earthquake in Japan... and that was bound to cause climate changes in some parts of the world.

In the meantime the earth's core is heating up, and no one knows why... so we're in for a tough time which has nothing to do with exhaust fumes or anything else you can think of.

Of course finding a way to cut down on pollution isn't a bad idea especially in China where the people are having a hard time of it in Shanghai. I think what we should be paying more attention to is all the garbage that has formed islands in the Pacific, (thanks to China), not to mention nuclear reactors and the affect Japan's tsunami had on on the fish in the N. Pacific... and I could go on and on.

What Fritz doesn't understand is that Germany has a 65 billion dollar trade surplus with the US. China has a 40 billion dollar surplus. So go ahead and try new tariffs, you'll be slitting your own throats.

Lets see....um.....here it is: "Moron" - a deluded individual who, despite no evidence and despite failure of computer models to produce accurate predictions, is a staunch believer that man's activities will cause disastrous climate events and advocates a return to 17th century agrarian lifestyle. See also "naive".

No, I am not kidding. Heisenberg and Döpel developed the first reactor in Leipzig in 1942. The question is how could the first nuclear reactor appear in the US in 1942, when the nuclear programm- Manhattan project started only 1943? By the way, the people who were working on atomic bomb in the US were mainly from Europe, including Germany.

Geez listening to NPR if they hadn't specifically told me that it was the useless Paris agreement that we were pulling out of......... I might have thought that Trump was the angel of death going around killing all the babies in the world that didn't have lambs blood symbols on the doors.

Holy moly they are stuttering and babbling all sorts of unproven, mischaracterized, nonsense. Lefties are hot.

There is not a day that has gone before and after his election that this POTUS has disappointed me. So far.

Screw the snowflake European supposed tariffs. Bring it on

I do like NPR Marketplace though :) good show

What's Junker gonna do, use stern language against us?

I'll tell ya what. When the 96 countries with higher pollution than the US start doing as well as we already are, then they can run their ****ing mouths.

Yes, all those "sustainable" energy technologies that have made electrical power so expensive and have drained the taxpayers wallets to subsidize. I read Germany is reducing the subsidies because they somehow discovered that when the sun doesn't shine and the wind doesn't blow, there is no power to make the Mercedes. That Germany is going back to some coal fired generation plants. Is that true?

You know, the US is the Arabs of Coal. We have Yuuuuuuuge deposits. We also have Yuuuuuuge deposits of nat gas and oil and our frackers are finding more every day, not counting the amount we have offshore and new discoveries in Alaska and some of the new finds now available because of new technology in once thought to be depleted west Texas fields. .

Don't worry, though. We are generous people and we will sell you some of it when the wind propellers aren't turning and the solar plants are idle under the clouds. But, it'll cost ye.

    covfefe, comrades.

You said global "leadership". Unlike Obama, I don't think offering your country's derriere to have objects inserted by foreign potentates is a definition of "leadership". We have a man in charge now, not an androgyne.

What greenies are demanding is that America continue to lead from behind as we did during the obama years.

Or in another words continue to be obedient followers

Trump is leading but the brain-dead euros are not following

Correct! He is doing NOTHING to stop North Korea from building up its forces to threatening levels. Not much difference.

Actually, the majority of scientists (and righties like the Tea Party Founder) recognize that filthing up the environment will only kill us and our way of life. Oh, and most of the scientists either don't believe in your, "Supreme Being," or they are fully able to separate that concept from their factual knowledge base.

N Korea has been working on its nuclear menace since Bush43 was president

Since then Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama have punted the ball and done nothing

Thats 20 years whereas trump has been in office about 4 monthis

The consequences of a shooting war in Korea are horrible and something we want to avoid if possible.

But if you are saying time is running out I fully agree

Yeah, I heard that as well and I think the main media missed it.

This will tell ye in ONE line what Trump is all about; money! He pretends to bow out, only to immediately claim he wants back in. And then he proclaims he's gonna 'lead the negotiations'.
'Come to me, I'll make a deal with you! We'll all sit down and we'll get back into the deal'. Blah blah blah.

But why get out of a deal when you're in it and you're willing to negotiate...?
This is just arrogant Trump believing that, by bullying the opposition, he can suddenly get what he wants; a sh*t-load of money he's not entitled to.

But as usual, dumb-Trump gave himself away. You heard it and so did I. Spread the word.

As far as climate change is concerned; Trumps credibility is melting before our eyes.
