More Holes in Russia-gate Narrative

I don't think any of them, even the crazed Neocons wanted war with Russia. What I think they (deep state, Israel lobby etc) thought was that Clinton would more forcefully oppose Russia in Syria than Trump, who was talking about getting out of Syria after potentially working with the Russians to defeat ISIS. She is a confirmed warmonger as we know and has taken obscene amounts of money from wealthy Zionists who clearly wanted Assad gone and Syria in chaos like Libya so that Iran's influence was weakened and their ability to get arms to Hezbollah via Syria was stopped. I believe they thought she'd not stop until regime change in Syria was accomplished. This could easily have caused WW3.

I also think that they knew Clinton could be trusted to continue the illusion of the Russian bogeyman in order to keep the military budget pumped up. She knows the score, the crooked establishment lackey that she is, and was all set to front the special interests that made her a billionaire, the sick bastards who dictate who gets bombed/overthrown/sanctioned etc next.

Trump, while obviously a big supporter of Israel was talking no more wars, and draining swamps. They didn't want him, and still don't, and IMO they've used the Russia nonsense to pressure him into changing tack on the foreign policy front, though so far while he's been talking aggressively he's ended the CIA's arming the 'rebels' (read terrorist proxies) programme in Syria and seems to have accepted Assad is going nowhere.

Iran is the worry though. The Zionists that virtually run the U.S. and, the very influential Saudis desperately want Iran attacked. I don't know if he'll resist them. I hope so, and am heartened to see so many Neocon terrorists criticising him in the media as that's a sign that they've heard through the grapevine that he's only talking tough. If not then we could all be fu**ed eventually as if he goes at Iran all hell could break loose.

I haven't a clue about Mueller and what'll happen in terms of this Russiagate codswallop to be honest. I can see it all fizzling out in the near future as the more the same people keep making baseless accusations the more people seem to be twigging that it's all BS.

IMO, if the U.S. people don't somehow deal with the power of the Israel lobby/Neocons and the media which acts as a propaganda wing for them it's only a matter of time until they get a regime in place that will cause WW3, assuming the current one doesn't.

We probably had a lucky escape with Clinton..

I did not. I said that if the U.S. people don't somehow deal with the power of the Israel lobby/Neocons and the media which acts as a propaganda wing for them it's only a matter of time until they get a regime in place that will cause WW3, assuming the current one doesn't.

This is not to say that they'll want WW3, but they could easily cause it, if they had a regime in place that was stupid enough to listen to them, and do what they say.

Don't forget that Clinton had committed to shooting down Russian planes in Syria had they violated any no-fly zones she was promising to enforce in Syria had she won...

Valid points, but this doesn't absolve Mueller of his responsibility to attempt it.
