I'm not sure that is an accurate statement. At least one California congressman has visited Assange in London. A conscientious investigator with clean hands might do the same thing, if he were really serious about getting the truth found out......

 

Not clear about what it is your saying ... Rohrabacher presented a deal proposed by Assange. I've already commented on it. It's been rejected by the DOJ. Assange wants amnesty over Snowden & Vault 7, in return he'll release details of the DNC email "hack". Assange has a story to tell, and Mueller doesn't want to hear it.

 

So as long as Mueller does not contact Assange can we assume he is not being conscientious and without clean hands?
Is Mueller just trying to fry Trump by any means necessary? Or is his investigation actually trying to get to the bottom of the issue of

Excellent questions, and I surely don't know the answers.

I do not trust Mueller or anybody else in the FBI or US Justice Department. Their history of deception and political maneuvering makes them suspect.

That is the problem. Most who believe russia hacked and turned over emails to wilkileaks are out of touch. The people who believe assanged was guilty of rape have not followed the complete story. The US want assange. And their allies will help us. This sweden deal was a railroaded deal, which finally went away, although the US's man who pushed this case is still wanting to do his duty, for the US.

Trouble with this group of posters is that they are either paid establishment shills, or just naive. Well a few could be just blind knee jerk ideologues.

Assange has hard verifiable evidence. LOL And unlike some of us, looks to be a rare bird, honest. In what he has released to date, has been 100 percent accurate. Who else has that track record? Not MSM or anyone else. But cover your ears and go into denial. It is the mode of operation of so many of us here.

 

Why to fulfill his
mission duty and find out who is behind the Russian election hacking, of course. Duh....

Hopefully Mueller is not the partisan moron that some of his followers are
and actually wants to get to the bottom of this issue, which he can only do by getting a fuller picture from any and all appropriate sources.

He has been selected to investigate this issue and has assured everyone he will conduct a fair and thorough investigation.

He maybe be able to prove weather it was or wasn't Russia that hacked the election. He knows who the source is. If you're "really" investigating "Russia hacking the election", seems like a good place to start? Otherwise it looks like you're running a witch hunt.

Mueller, as a lawyer, knows not to ask questions he may not want the answers too. This goes for brainwashed drones as well.

The speed at which the data was downloaded indicated that it couldn't have been done over transoceanic connections.

If it was hacked from a foreign source, the NSA's PRISM infrastructure would have captured every packet in real time (and the NSA only had "medium" confidence in the hack).

I've always pointed out the stupidity of liberals who scream about us attacking Iraq, while claiming how pristine our "intelligence" agencies are, when both sets of information came from the same place.

The "Deep State" is a cadre of high-ranking functionaries who've made a career of government service in various bureaucracies. There are a variety of government "agencies", each with "directors" (and their 'directorates'), a bunch of "commissioners" (with their own 'Commissions'), and a variety of "departments" (with various 'heads'). All of these have "secretaries" (with their respective secretariats). These are all populated by functionaries with often decades of service rising through the ranks. There is a "Civil Service Commission" that conducts examinations every year, anyone can take the test, you get a rating and qualify for a government position in one of the bureaucracies based on your score. This is the "deep state".
