FTR it appears as though the EU will defend NN for obvious reasons.

    History proves otherwise!

The internet was just fine before Net Neutrality and it will be just fine after Net Neutrality.

Oh please government regulate our internet we can't possibly want it to advance more. And oh so desperate to have isps become monopolies.

Someone I really really like on TV talked to me about it and I believe them cuz they're really pretty.

This time the Wolf has promised if we open the door, and let him in, he will not blow down our Internet house or eat our guests. He recognized the error of his ways from the last 2 times he ate the neighbors after blowing their houses down, and will NEVER.. EVER EVER.. do that again.. Seriously, you can trust a Wolf.

Thank you for admitting to NOT reading to the end of the story!

So there is your hard evidence that corporation did throttle internet access in the past.

Looks like you are going to have to come up with something else to defend the indefensible.

    Hard evidence? No.

    Court interpretation? Yes.

Looks like you are going to have to come up with something else other than a court giving a "broad meaning" of a word.

You might want to look into wireless mesh networks. Then you can have your own internet.

It really is. It could allow people to establish their own IP-based networks.

Yes, and any kind of competition of this nature is going to be a good thing in order to break up the ISP monopolies in so many areas. Right now the only issues appears to be standardization between manufacturers but, like all things, that will eventually happen either because of demand or because someone sees an opportunity and comes up with a node that can "translate" one band to another automatically.

The three Republican members of the FCC voted to repeal net neutrality, while the two Democrats on the panel voted against it in the continuing partisan obsessive efforts to completely erase all vestiges of Obama's legislative legacy. . . . Does logic mandate that Obama was ALWAYS wrong, as Brewskier stated?????

Laws are meant not to exploit US, but to PROTECT us from exploitation. . . . As Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, "The only sure bulwark of continuing liberty is a government strong enough to protect the interests of the people, and a people strong enough and well enough informed to maintain its sovereign control over the government." . . . . Government is meant to represent OUR interests, not its own.

His post referred to why he wasn't supporting this site with his own money

No, he was alluding to expected cost increases to PF.

    . . . . But that's a hypocritical observation for a member who ALSO is not a donor.

Read the post he responded to.
I ain't the one posting a public cryfest about a site I want to stay running on donor money, but refuse to donate my own money.
