This is hilarious. I wonder what Trump's bodyguard and one of his lawyers was looking for? How much boner medication Trump has to take? What kind of hair growth formula he uses? Lithium dosages?

The Trump Presidency continues to amuse me. Good thing too because if Hillary had won, I'd be crying every day.

    http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-brief...-ex-doctor-says-trump-staff-raided-his-office
President Trump’s longtime personal doctor in New York says a trio of Trump associates showed up at his office without notice in early 2017 and seized the president’s medical records.

Dr. Harold Bornstein told NBC News that Trump’s bodyguard, Keith Schiller, a lawyer with the Trump Organization and a third man came to his office the morning of Feb. 3, 2017. They took lab reports and Trump’s medical charts, he said.

“They must have been here for 25 minutes or 30 minutes. It created a lot of chaos,” Bornstein said, adding that he felt “raped, frightened and sad.”

NBC reported that Trump’s White House physician, Ronny Jackson, wrote a letter authorizing the release of Trump’s records, but Bornstein told the news outlet he was not given a release form to sign.

Bornstein said the incident, which he described as a "raid," took place days after he told The New York Times that Trump takes Propecia, a drug for men with enlarged prostates that helps with hair growth.

Trump's longtime doctor said the president cut ties with him after he made the comments to the Times.

NBC said the White House and Schiller did not respond to requests to comment for its report.

Bornstein told NBC he felt compelled to speak about the “raid” because of the allegations against Jackson, whom Trump nominated to serve as Veterans Affairs (VA) secretary.

Jackson withdrew his nomination last week in the face of mounting allegations of improper behavior.

Jackson has been accused of overprescribing medication, drinking on the job and creating a hostile work environment. He has denied the allegations.

“This is like a celebration for me,” said Bornstein, who had previously expressed a desire to serve as White House physician.

Bornstein also made headlines during the 2016 presidential campaign when he declared Trump would be "the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency."

Can't wait to see the COMEDY about to spew from Trump's RW Apologists (if they even choose to comment).

    Trump's ex-Doctor?

Says to me that he violated HIPAA by telling the press things he was not allowed to. He was fired, and the patient recovered his records. Granted the method of recovering may have been a bit over the top, but that goes right along with Trumps style.

I guess they are his records and he has every right to them, typical stormtrooper techniques notwithstanding.. Gotta be something in there he doesn't want the public to know.... although interesting this was done AFTER the inauguration.

Anybody remember the movie Independence Day? See any similarities here? I always wondered what happened to that guy...

BTW, I doubt you'd be crying every day.... I think things would have been just fine with Mdm President Clinton, although obviously ranking much lower on the daily entertainment scale.

Its no fun getting fired, huh?

The doctor should lose him medical license for divulging patient privileged info that the President takes Propecia. Obviously NO ONE wants a doctor who does press releases about your visits and prescriptions for the purpose of embarassing the patient.

A person recovered his own medical records to maintain confidentiality - and the doctor (obviously just fired) felt "raped?"

Yeah, fire that drama queen and take the records! Also file a complaint with the medical board and a lawsuit for his releasing patient privileged information.

I'm not sure what the patient did is legal, at all, in any event.

If anyone violated HIPAA it was probably the people who stormed in and tore the records away, opening them for public scrutiny.

Now, do I believe this story? Sure. Trump is a ****ing retard so of course it's possible he threw more gasoline onto the blazing inferno that is his presidency.

    But I could be wrong.

When you have a doctor retaliating against you (in this case for Trump not making him the W.H. doctor) by releasing confidential medical records to try to embarrass you publicly - in EXTREME violation of HIPAA - the method of recovery was THE way to do it - to not give the doctor opportunity to make copies and do still more HIPPA violations and offenses against his patient, President Trump.

When someone is using privileged info against you, and those documents are YOURS, you do not call and say, "I"m coming to get my records because you are violating my HIPAA rights. But I want to give you enough time to copy them so you can release still more confidential medical information about me." No, you show up unannounced and take them - allowing no time for them to be copied or hidden.

Hilarious post from Jke -- again.

Just try and do that at your doctors office.

Let us know how it works out (after you make bail).

Let's see the security video. Oh, an MD who prescribes narcotics in NYC doesn't have a security camera? Sure he doesn't. Der...

gee...does he have a MOTIVE TO MAKEUP BULLSHIT LIKE THIS?

"This is like a celebration for me,” said Bornstein, who had previously expressed a desire to serve as White House physician."

Try looking at the Big Picture sometimes...

Well what did he expect when he violated the law concerning Trump's medical records! DUH.

And standard that the incoming Presidents records get transferred to the White House and this doctor had already given Dr. Johnson the transfer letter.

Seems this guy is trying to get some fame time.

The people were from the Executive office and yes this doctor telling the NYT about a medication he prescribed to a patient is a GROSS violation of HIPAA and no wonder they went and took possession of the records.

Well, I am pretty sure you can't claim they took his records, back in 2017, for something he told the NYT in 2018.

I mean, unless Trump somewhere tweeted that he has a time machine, then I guess we have to believe it, right?

Violation of HIPAA shouldn't be a partisan issue. Nobody should be ok with what this doctor did.

While I agree, there may have been violations, I'm trying to imagine the RW not going full-blitz nutzo if Obama had sent in paid thugs to raid his doctors office extrajudicially.

    "Paid thugs"?

The three men (according to the linked article) were "Trump’s bodyguard, Keith Schiller, a lawyer with the Trump Organization and a third man" and "Trump’s White House physician, Ronny Jackson, [had written] a letter authorizing the release of Trump’s records".
