This is just a thought, but you might start distancing yourself NOW, so you aren't stuck with being something you didn't intend to be.

That is starting to sound, Trumpian.

Here is one. Security risk. If outsiders know the specific drug he takes it would be possible to create a chemical compound that interacts with his prescription killing him but to everyone else it is harmless. It would be possible to poison a batch of food or water and only kill the target. A way to get away with murder.

Edit: or to bypass the taster. The person who tastes the food to see if it is poisoned.

Everything about this story is concerning. Doctor is a nutcase, which we knew when he tried to sell us on Trump’s health, to the possible unwarranted search and seizure?

So all in all, my takeaway is that this is yet another case of Trump picking staff very very very poorly.
Is there no end to his poor decision making?

I agree that what the doctor did is wrong. No argument. He shouldn't have released that information. He may have even broken the law. Trump's team definitely broke the law though. Can you admit it?

Yes, but more likely some sort of suspension, fine or reprimand from the AMA. OTOH, a lawsuit from Trump was much more likely....until he chose to send in goons to ransack the doctor's office.

The doctor is the nut case given that the sell job concerning Trump health was written not by the doctor but by Trump himself?

Agreed that the Doctor is a nutcase, which is why I wonder why Trump went to him for over 30 years. Two peas in a pod?

That Ronnie guy apparently disclosed Pences wife's medical records without her consent. He's a total quack and he was supposed to lead than VA. What a joke.

An what does that have to do with our President mental standing in dictating his own health report to his doctor?

What very very strange mindset do you need to even come up with such an idea let alone carry it out!!!!!!!

Talk about a nut case you do not need to look any further then the White House.

Which makes me wonder why the Doctor didn't simply call the police and have them locked up. But then, he knew who they were, or who they worked for.

And Jackson says he has a letter from the Doctor authorizing the transfer and watch the doctor lose his license and face jail time for his blatant HIPPA violations. Why do you defend him?

Go for it but from the story it appears he allowed them to take them. He may not have liked them showing up unnannounced but he allowed them to take them. And then he can be charged for violating HIPPA. Why do you support this jerk?

He knew he had violated the law and could be the creek without a paddle so he ALLOWED them to take the records.

Why did you when he was feeding the nation a line of feces?

For the record, he isn’t losing his license. Based on the breach expect between a 1,000 - 50,000 fine.

    From the OP link
"Bornstein said the incident, which he described as a "raid," took place days after he told The New York Times that Trump takes Propecia"

Then he broke HIPAA laws, and should be prosecuted accordingly, I would think.

I also don't think you're allowed to storm into a dr's office and sieze records though. Two wrongs don't make a right.

"Criminal violations of HIPAA are handled by the DOJ. As with the HIPAA civil penalties, there are different levels of severity for criminal violations.

Covered entities and specified individuals, as explained below, who "knowingly" obtain or disclose individually identifiable health information, in violation of the Administrative Simplification Regulations, face a fine of up to $50,000, as well as imprisonment up to 1 year.

Offenses committed under false pretenses allow penalties to be increased to a $100,000 fine, with up to 5 years in prison.

Finally, offenses committed with the intent to sell, transfer or use individually identifiable health information for commercial advantage, personal gain or malicious harm permit fines of $250,000 and imprisonment up to 10 years."

One wrong doesn't make it right. Going and asking for them and you are given them is not illegal.

Jail? LOL. Keep dreaming like all those LWers who dream that collusion is found and Hillary becomes President.

I'm not defending criminal actions on either side, so get a grip, kid. Right is right and wrong is wrong. One day you'll learn this is true.
