Thats not what is in the agreement

That was the situation before trump had this meeting, and thats still the situation now. This didnt change anything beyond give some more credibility to NK and kim.

No it isn't but that is the agreed goal and the details will be worked on by the State Department and NoKo officials.
Do you feel Kim has credibility? I know of no one outside North Korea who feels this way.

    No, Bush is the reason.

Clinton successfully negotiated to suspend the NK nuclear program, and put inspectors in place to verify it. The agreement worked.

Bush unilaterally pulled the US out of that deal for political reasons. He thought "Axis of Evil" sounded cool, and included NK in the axis of evil, and decided the USA would not negotiate with such awful people. He pulled out the inspectors and cancelled the deal. Thus, NK developed nukes, thanks entirely to the Republicans.

Oddly, Republicans are supporting the same "abandon the agreement that works well" policy with Iran. It's as if they want Iran to develop nukes.

China is especially happy with Trump now. The US exercises with SK and others were part of global alliance that reigned in not just North Korea, but China as well. Trump is tearing that alliance apart. Supporting Trump here is supporting Chinese expansion.

    What?
Sorry, but you are totally wrong!

Iran is allowed by the deal to use nuclear power as far as no nuclear weapon is build with! And Iran did not build and was not able to build due to this deal. If they want to build up some more nuclear plants then they are allowed to do this ... and even if they want to build nuclear powered military ships, then they are allowed to do too!

I recommend you to inform better about the terms of the Iran deal before claiming things in matter of Iran didn't fullfill the terms of the deal with things which are not part of the deal.

A President who left office in 2000 is all you have?

And I will add that Bill Clinton left a budget surplus and overhauled welfare. Anybody that can F with that other than saying "but Monica" can kiss my pale white buttocks.

The Peoples Republic of China are like Imperial Japan was during the 1920's and 1930's.

Japan like the Chi-Coms today want the Orient for the Orientals and want Americans and Europeans out of Asia and want to control the Far East natural resources and TRADE.

The Chi-Coms don't like having American troops in South Korea or in Japan and basically don't like the U.S. Navy sailing around the Western Pacific.

Right now I would say the Chi-Coms are where Imperial Japan was in 1936.

This meeting was not a negotiation. Negotiations will not take place in public.

I would recommend you take your own advice about getting informed.

Perhaps there is some other motivation to deny the facts?

They developed them. If I had to guess I would say China helped them the most.

Can you tell me who gave them nukes?

Seems like just the other day the left was chastising Trump for having the war games. Why yes it was.

"But with tensions so high on the peninsula, some analysts say that rigid thinking could lead to miscommunication or military escalation.

The worry, analysts say, is that if the exercises proceed as usual — and if the United States decides to add other maneuvers like flying B-1B bombers over the Korean Peninsula or bringing aircraft carriers into nearby waters — the North may revive its plan to launch missiles near Guam or conduct some other act of aggression.

“I simply want somebody to help cool the temperature,” said Katharine H.S. Moon, a professor of political science and Asian studies at Wellesley College, “to buy time for the U.S. and North Korea to cool off and eventually figure out how to talk, what to talk about, when to talk about it and for what end.”

Even if the two sides could agree to some kind of temporary suspension of the exercises to open the way to talks, said Lee Jong-won, professor of East Asian international relations at Waseda University in Tokyo, “that will be only the beginning of very long and tough negotiations, because the positions of the two are very far apart.”

Trump said that by giving them up we would save a huge chunk of money.

And he was correct, it costs a lot to keep forces there just to play wargames.

So no, he didn't give them up for nothing, that's a very solid reason and its nice to see him trying to save money when the opportunity arises.

Elevation of a rogue state to international nationhood.

An American President seen by the world kissing a murderous international criminal's butt.

And behaving like an appeaser and actually believing Kim is sincere in de-nuking.

Demonstrating to the world that the AMERICAN President just needs some smoke blown up his arse for him to think your a friend.

The cessation of joint military exercises. Something NK has ALWAYS wanted stopped.

AFter that pitiful press conference, the world is simultaneous laughing with derision and lamenting the absence of class, lack of knowledge and puny intellectual ability of the most powerful man on its surface.

Meanwhile the trumpsters rejoice in all that "winning".

Why today, Trump claimed NK is no longer a nuclear threat!!!!!! Talk about a truly stupid premature adjudication.

Not that that is even a remotely relevant comparison but last i Checked France and the U.K. are NATO allies and have never threaten to use there nukes on the U.S. France and the U.K. don't show poorly produced propaganda to there citizens of their nuke's blowing up the U.S. Capital.

My point was Trump stocked the flames of the NK issues, then spews his own propaganda that he somehow has fixed the problem, Quote "There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea." When in fact the treat the North Korean's posed has always been there and still is. I completely understand how long it take to work out deals like this, which is why i was for keeping the Iran deal in place. My issue is the way Trump belittles and criticizes the way other presidents have made these kind of deals as"Terrible Deals" and only he can do way better. Then he literally does the same thing other presidents have done and then braggs about it like it's some kind of an accomplishment and you guys praise him for it.

    All depends.
To many they are equal, to some the latter is more important.

There are some demanding that North Korea return the USS Pueblo back to the U.S. Navy so it can be stricken from the U.S. Navy ship registry.

The USS Pueblo is still U.S. Navy property.

Technically the USA just as the ROK are still at war with North Korea, only a cease fire agreement was signed in 1953.

Time to officially end America's longest war in history.
